This resort is located on the beautiful Sandyport Beach with great restaurants near by and a 30 min bus ride to downtown. On Mondays they provide curtesy a shuttle to the local grocery store. The units are spacious and comfortable. The furniture and TVs are outdated and need updating, the laundry room definitely needs updating. The full kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and cookware. Th bar & resturant on the beach ( Blue Sale) is excellent, there a few other restaurants writhing walking distance that are pretty good, we specially recommend Poop Deck. There are nice buses running every 30 min with bus stops near the resort. The beach is very nice and easily accessible.

Sandyport is a nice hotel where you can spend time with your family, friends, or partner. It has a reasonable price and exceeds expectations. I honestly think it is a nice hotel. I also think it is not a place for everyone because it is away from the attractions of the Bahamas; still, instead of seeing it as a bad thing, I think it is the benefit of a hotel like this to relax and enjoy the beauty and architecture of the Bahamas like nowhere else.
