Amazing!!! This villa has it all - views, amenities, location, pool, a/c. Plus the owners are wonderful and great to work with! They have thought of everything- coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, kayaks, life vests, you name it! We enjoyed our visit, loved relaxing at the villa and made some great memories. We hated to leave and are already planning our next trip- this villa is truly special!
This trip was especially special because it was our first time in the USVI. Absolutely perfect location, away from all the traffic and noise from the Cruz Bay area. The pictures were exactly as described and instructions were clear from prior arrival to departure. Hope to make this an annual visit!
This well equiped, beautiful home in East End St. John has everything you want and need! The hosts provided a welcome bottle of champange and homemade cookies and were responsive when we had questions. We traveled here with another couple and appreciated that the bedrooms were separated by the living area, each with it's own en suite bathroom. The expansive deck provided gorgeous water, sunset and morning views. Included are beach chairs, cooler and a grill for cooking out. Everything you need is included in this well appointed home!
I had the pleasure of staying at Wild Jasmine and I loved it! I was looking for someplace that was peaceful, quiet, tasteful and yet adventurous…somewhere close to the best snorkeling with a very genuine feel about it and this place turned out to be perfect! The house is super comfortable and decorated beautifully with a roomy, well-appointed kitchen which is so important as we all know-it even has both a large fridge for groceries and a smaller one for drinks. Gorgeous bed in the master...slept really well the entire stay. The views are AMAZING…as are the sunsets..from every room in the house, the full-length deck, the pool. Truly some of the best I saw-and I just about explored every road, nook and cranny on the island.
Some of the best snorkeling on the island can also only be accessed easily from here. The house includes a private beach with access to Pelican’s Rock where I saw giant turtles, nurse sharks, large families of squid, rays, big puffer fish and tons of colorful fish and corals. (Don't worry about the sharks..they are docile and harmless and you are lucky to see one!) Only a very short drive from the house is the other top snorkel spot on the island with some of the prettiest corals and abundant fish- Haulover North (down the trail and then swim left). Kayaks are also available for exploring the closer bays. It’s also close to Hansen Bay, Haulover South and Salt Pond Bay which also have good snorkeling/ hiking and are nice, beautiful, uncrowded (yes!) beaches.
There are great restaurants in the area-Aqua Bistro, Indigo Grill, and Skinny Legs Bar & Grill, all of which are recommended. You can get a yummy smoothie at Columbo’s on the way to the North Shore Beaches too :)
I found the East End to be my favorite place on the island…it’s very special-the brilliant turquoise waters, the lack of tourists, the smell in the air. (Hopefully, you’ll get lucky and the Mock Orange trees will be blooming.) If you want to feel like you actually got away from it all, had an adventure and really lived the island life in comfort, Wild Jasmine will definitely do that for you.

I'd never been to St John before, so this was a real experience for me, especially because the villa is located in Coral Bay (the less crowded and quieter neighbor to Cruz Bay). I didn't know quite what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be an incredible vacation, due in no small part by the wonderful villa and the kind hosts.
The views from the property were mind-blowing and even better than the pictures. It was so beautiful, I could have just hung out there all day gazing at the ocean and mountains while dangling my feet in the pool, but there was so much to see and do.
William & Isabelle were perfect hosts, ready to answer any questions and help. They clearly enjoyed discussing St John and provided tons of info.
Very close by is a semi-private beach (a quick walk from the villa). Just off the beach is Pelican Rock, a great snorkeling reef. The water there is calmer than most other beaches on the island and the visibility was clear. It's a nice reef to snorkel and an easy swim off the beach. This beach is also where they kept the 2 kayaks, which were fun to see some of the many coves in the bay.
I enjoyed visiting the funky shops and restaurants in Coral Bay, just a few miles down the road. Be careful driving though, because sometimes there are donkeys, goats, chickens, iguanas or other animals walking down the street.
The villa itself was very comfortable, nicely decorated and had all the amenities you could want. I could hear birds chirping, frogs and the sound of the waves. William and Isabelle graciously left gifts of local beverages, fruit and home cooked bread. It was delicious.
It truly is a tropical paradise. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend it, if you want to enjoy natural scenic beauty and what St John is really all about.
