Location is good for the airport, but the hotel needs work.

If you need a place to sleep next to the airport, this is the nearest. It's not a bad walk from the STT terminal. However, this hotel is in rough shape. My room had a torn ceiling in the main room that looks like a leak from above. The bathroom ceiling was unfinished and the tile floor was barely finished at the edges. The bathroom was tiny and about a roomy as a airplane lavatory. Restaurant was out of service on the day I was there, so you either order Dominos or walk to another hotel nearby.

Bartender and front desk were helpful.

If it wasn't for the beautiful scenery on St Thomas, I probably would give this hotel 1 star, but I'm not sure the hotel should get credit for that either.

This is not a place you want to spend an extended amount of time. There are better choices on the island for that. However, if you need to be close to the airport, I'll give the hotel credit for that.

Note--this is not an isolated experience. On a previous stay, the hotel didn't have room for us, even though we had reservations well in advance. They moved us to another hotel that then required taxi service to get to the airport. Several emails to the management at that time were unanswered.

Thank you for reaching out to us about your stay. Our hotel has been undergoing a lot of renovations since it is a historical building right on the water’s edge.

We have a sister hotel that is just a short shuttle ride away that has a restaurant, beach, and waterfall pool that are all open for our hotel guests to utilize. Also our close proximity to the airport makes it easy for guests to walk back and fourth and convenient for guests who have early departures.

Simple but convenient and can walk from airport

Had to pick a place in St Thomas the same day due to missed connection to next island. This was right next to airport. It is very simple. Room decoration were tired looking but clean and adequate. Very nice bar overlooking the ocean and bar tender went way out of his way to get us food even after restaurant was closed for the night (just after 10). About 10 minute taxi ride to downtown

Great Place To Relax in St. Thomas

The hotel is located within walking distance from the airport. If you're able to walk about 1500 feet I recommend that you do to avoid being ripped-off by the taxis at the airport. Two other guests at the hotel were charged upwards of $27.00 for a one minute ride around the corner to the hotel. They don't have a meter in the vehicle or published rates in the taxi so be careful and check with the locals or hotel for fare information. The hotel is nice nothing fancy but it's clean well kept, has a good restaurant/bar, with a pool, close to the beach, and close to Lindbergh Bay park. If you go to the bar ask for Jeremy he makes great drinks! Also the front desk staff were always pleasant and professional. I would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for reviewing us on TripAdvisor. Like you had mentioned, we are walking distance from the airport and are very easy to find. Also, we are close to the family friendly Lindbergh Bay park and beach and encourage all of our guests to enjoy those amenities. We follow a strict cleaning procedure that ensures all the rooms are ready for guests along with our public areas. Great Value

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, the restaurant was nice and the food was good. The overall service was excellent. the staff was very friendly and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Plus, it is within walking distance to the airport.

Very convenient near the airport

Very convenient near the airport. It is walking distance.
Hotel doesn't have a beach but a small swimming pool.
Breakfast is very good and also very friendly people.
Rooms are big but ac is not very good according to my us friends.
I'm from cold Belgium and for me it was perfect.

Thank you for your review! Our convenient location makes it easy for guests to walk to us and get settled in after a day of traveling. We also have a shuttle to our sister property that is located on a beach for guests who want to go to the beach without traveling far. All of our staff is dedicated to making our guests feel welcome and comfortable. All of our A/C units are regularly checked and maintained to ensure that guests are comfortable in their rooms.
