We've been to St. Thomas several times and have tried all the recommended restaurants on Trip Advisor and the food at Amalia was by far the best on the island. My husband had paella and couldn't stop raving about how good it tasted. I had a filet of red snapper served with a brandy sauce, topped with mussels and shrimp and loved the entire dish. The atmosphere was romantic for two but could also be a place to take your entire family. The waitress was attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the food on the menu and enjoyed talking to her. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to find this hidden gem!
