This is an exceptional stop for the busy hungry traveler. We were on the move leaving the BVI and had to get food. As luck would have it, we were pointed to this gem of a cafe by the taxi person. Brought us right to the door. Located just outside the departures end of the airport, the cafe sits about a 100 yard walk past the terminal. There is a sidewalk to the cafe which makes traversing the chaotic streets manageable with luggage. This is the place where all the locals and airport workers grab lunch on the fly. We sat and watched everyone from cabbies to captains, run in and grab a platter of chicken, fish and chips and BBQ. The grab and go menu is quick simple and super affordable with most meals packed in carry containers and averaging $3-$4. We sat and chose from the menu. There is the local selection of fresh fish and goat for those who have time and like adventure. We opted for the jerk chicken and philly cheesesteak. The food was hot, flavorful and prompt. The service was happy and local. Highly recommended. If you can , skip the fast food at the restaurant and hop over to the fabulous cafe - it is well worth the 5 minute walk. The take out option is ideal for groups who can have someone stay and watch the luggage while sending someone out to get the food.
