Description: Newly renamed, and with a hotshot young chef from Toronto at the helm, the Somerset's signature restaurant has gotten a thrilling reboot. The cooly elegant interior now has a warmer, more welcoming palette, but our favorite place to dine is still the stone terrace facing the croquet lawn. With balmy breezes rustling the trees, big-flavored cocktails, and food that is often sensational, Pavilion may be poised to become the go-to fine-dining restaurant on Provo. Presiding over a menu that fuses "local ingredients with a global palate," Chef Justin Currie brings a culinary tradition of artisanal self-sustainability-he smokes his own fish (over coconut shells), fashions homemade tostones out of smashed plantains, and even makes his own curry powder and garam masala; next up is house-made guanciale. Chef Currie's whole red snapper is a tour de force, an Asian/island fusion topped with julienned root vegetables sauteed in a sweet and salty soy/ginger/molasses sauce. Sample Chef Currie's shrimp and grits at breakfast, prepared with corn and Old Bay seasoning. Expect interesting takes on local seafood, including Caicos lobster (in season from August to April). The bar is a good place to rub elbows with the local movers and shakers. Reservations are recommended.

We had two completely different experiences at the The Pavillon this year and both were outstanding! We had a very nice romantic dinner on the porch with excellent food, wine and service.

A few nights later we sat at the bar and had Tapas with David behind the bar. There was a DJ playing so we were able to grab a couple of dances.

Once again the food was excellent as was the service. David even brought the chef out and introduced us to him!

Fun night!

Just returned from Provo and enjoyed an awesome meal here.
Enjoyed the 2 can dine for $79 plus taxes/fees. (Thursdays)
Plentiful salads to start followed by veal medallions with shrimps ,mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. The other entrée we selected was pan fried snapper, rice and grilled vegetables. This special also includes a bottle of wine and various ice creams for dessert. Strawberry and Cinnamon ice creams were delicious.
A very affordable evening by Provo standards.
We also enjoyed their Tuesday night beach bbq.
Wide variety of offerings from cold salads, grilled veggies, grilled fish, shrimp, jerk chicken, ribs, strip steak and desserts.
Bonfire, dire dancer and DJ complete the evening on the beach under the stars.
MAGICAL!

We just got back from 10 wonderful days on Turks & Caicos--we had great dinners every night BUT, 2 stand outs were Pavilion at Somerset & the beach BBQ at Somerset ( food by Pavilion)
The Tuesday night beach party is excellent --lots of great choices, mahi mahi, tuna, Shrimp, Chicken, Steak, Ribs, Salads, desserts ! Fire dancer, DJ, bon fire, torches to light up the beach--so cool & fun!
The Thursday Night "2 can dine for $79.00" is great, Bottle of wine, 2 salads, 2 Entrées ( try the Veal & Shrimp) plus dessert ...great deal & very good! Wonderful service & pretty view of The Somerset property !

Ate dinner here. Presentation and quality of the food was excellent. Our waiter was very friendly and the service was great, although there were just a few diners when we were there. We felt the dinner rivaled Caicos Cafe and Coco Bistro, our other two favorites.

The Monday night tacos and tapas in the bar are a great deal and $5 for each-- we each ordered 2- which was more than enough food. David, our bartender was wonderful.
The beach BBQ was pricey, but fun. There was also the fire eating performer--
