Description: Big Al's Island Grill is now open in Salt Mills Plaza. The restaurant made its grand opening in November, and offers a delicious variety of burgers and other entrees. The decor is that of a 50's diner, and will bring you down a trip through memory lane with its checkerboard design and red accents. Though the restaurant is the "new kid on the block," owner Doug Camozzi is not new to the restauranteur business. He is also the owner and manager of The Green Bean Cafe in Turtle Cove. Doug opened Big Al's Island Grill in honor of his father, a seasoned restauranteur himself, running successful businesses in San Francisco. On the Menu Big Al's offers quite a unique selection of burgers including their New Mexican Burger, the Sicilian Burger and the Smashed Onion. Fries are offered in shoestring, krinkle or waffle cut. Burgers are not the only meals you will find at Big Al's. Don't miss out on their wraps and salads, grilled chicken, fish or steak options. Gluten-free and vegetarian choices are available too. If you think you can take on a challenge, try the Slider Challenge at Big Al's. If you can finish the meal within 30 minutes, you get a free t-shirt. Be sure to stop by and visit Big Al's Island Grill if in the Grace Bay area.

W ended our trip with lunch at Big Al's before heading to the airport for the return flight home. This was a neat spot with great hamburgers, fries and one of us had a salad. It was all very tasty and hit the spot after a week of exploring island food. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we would definitely go back if we return. Also well located in Salt Mills Plaza for lunch while knocking out some shopping.

We were completely "conched out" after 5 days of eating almost only conch and we required a burger for our return trip home. The juicy burgers were big enough with a good grade of beef. The bun was fantastic and held up well to the juicy meat and condiments. Onion rings appeared to be house made, with cornmeal based crispy crust.
The restaurant was crowded as it was Sunday afternoon and the World Cup Final was on the televisions. Service was good for the island. Since the food is prepared for the individual, the time from sit down to exit was about one hour.

My husband and 3 kids all enjoyed our meals and the service was great (as it is at every restaurant)! Loved that we could get our burgers wrapped in lettuce instead of buns and they had a turkey burger which was so tasty! Kids wanted to go back next night!!! Don’t miss out on this place for your casual meal.

We did eat at Big Al’s on our visit to Turks and Caicos. All food in these islands is very expensive. So expect to pay a minimum of $15 just for a Hamburg. It was good - the fries were even better.
