This is one of my favorite beaches! Grace Bay Beach can easily compete with the best beaches found in Maui, BVI etc. It is a great beach to walk and play on. Clean, uncrowded and peaceful. The water is clear and a stunning blue shade. Waves were present during our stay, plus some seaweed/sargassum, but most resorts cleaned up quickly. White sand, clear water!

This beach lives up to the hype! It's beautiful, wide, and goes on for miles, with soft, white sand. The incredible water is every shade of blue imaginable. A must visit!

What can I say that hasn't been said? Blissful views of turquoise water and powder soft sand. There's a reason it's the most popular thing on the island.

We were concerned after the hurricanes but saw only a little evidence of damage in the resort areas. Mostly new shiny roofs, palm trees braced with 2x4's and the tops of some palm trees looking like the tail of a freshly trimmed French poodle.

Extensive work was obviously done for the area to recover so quickly. Hat's off to all; the results are beyond expectations!

That said, many local residences showed damage.
