Great crew and excursions. The trip to Stingray City was absolutely packed (it was Easter Monday) and Captain Matt worked incredibly hard to get us the experience we paid for. The sunset cruise was also beautiful! Left from the Westin and made one stop to pick up more passengers via catamaran. Great drinks and company. Red Sail runs a great, diverse operation for couples and families alike.
Equipment and boats all in great repair (unlike some other companies we passed on the water). Thanks again Matt and crew- see you next time!

Afraid the most dull banana boat ride have ever had. Was hands free most of the time. Went with 3 kids (9-12yr), one of whom whose birthday it was, who were desperate for more fun. Such a shame.

We decided to do their Sunday trip to Stingray City out of Rum Point. We opted just for the trip to Stingray City (no additional snorkeling) The weather was beautiful and we were staying nearby so it was so convenient to be able to go out from Rum Point. The catamaran was beautiful. Spotless and inviting. The staff was informative, with a touch of comedy. I would say we had a small group of people (approximately 40). During the trip out we were given instructions on the stingrays (holding, walking in the water, etc....)
Zak took some great pics although we didn't spend as much time there as we thought we would and also thought we would have had the opportunity to feed the stingrays but that was not offered. Overall it was fun and the staff was friendly.

Hi Debbie1205,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed your time with us at the Stingray City sandbar.
Unfortunately, there is a regulation in Grand Cayman prohibiting commercial operators from allowing their guests to feed the stingrays. So, only our guides can feed the rays. This regulation was put in place for the health of our lovely stingrays. They tend to be overfed, as you can imagine. However, if you did see other tourists feeding the rays they were most likely with a private tour group rather than a commercial tour group.
Hopefully you enjoyed the rest of your time shared with us on the water.

Do not use them. Received defective equipment and they were negligent in their supervision. My son and I almost died (literally) during a rental using their equipment. Received a defective wrist strap with the engine kill. Flipped on wave runner and wrist strap fell off wrist and couldn’t re start engine and was left miles off shore for 90 minutes.

We take our safety procedures and the safety of our guests very seriously. Thank you for expressing your concerns. I have thoroughly reviewed our records and spoken with all staff/management involved. According to our rental check-out records your time on the water was in fact 20-30 minutes from the time of rental checkout. Our beach staff are on constant patrol of the beach to ensure the safety of our guests and to keep tabs on allotted rental times.
After the waverunner flipped and the kill-switch band slipped from your wrist, unfortunately you chose to swim away from the waverunner with your son and head towards shore. We usually recommend that it is safest to stay on/with the machine and wait for our patrol waverunner for collection in cases of emergency. It is difficult to keep track of every beach-goer (especially this time of year) but we certainly do our very best, recommending guests to never leave their waverunners if they need assistance so that we may keep track of who is using the waverunners and who is just swimming around.
My sincerest apologies for the experience you and your son had. I hope that your son and family are happier and more at ease after your complimentary banana boat ride on Tuesday. Please let us know if there is any way we can further assist during your stay in Grand Cayman.

My husbands cert experience was horrible. Requirements were done in a secure ocean area and a pool. Everyone was ready to start upon arrival but instructors who ran around for another hour getting all the equipment ready. Two people got stung by jelly fish and quit after that. The first day, after 9 hours, the group was so diverse in ability and knowledge that 4 requirements were still left to do the next day. Upon arrival, no one had same BCD, weight belts, mask/snorkle or fins. After they got all that straightened out my husbands tank was expired by a month! It was an unorganized joke. Later they walked out for their first dive. The next day was the 2 tank boat dive and he said those guys were on the ball. Boat was nice, plenty of shade, and gear was ready to go. The instructors not being ready, equipment changed out and expired, that's just ridiculous.
