Took my two teenage girls to get their check out dives with Becca during a family trip to the islands. Could not have been more impressed!!! Before we even got there, she had called our local dive instructor to get some more information on the two. Her calming nature mixed with experience convinced a near panic youngster to relax and continue on. What a great first dive experience for the two. Amazing!!

The whole organization’s preparation and attitude is what stuck out most. Highly recommend anyone visiting the BVI to dive with this group.

My family and I had an great SCUBA experience with Dive BVI.

We had arranged to rendezvous with Dive BVI in the Dogs on Wednesday, but we ended up docking our Moorings 5000 in Yacht Harbour in Spanish Town Tuesday afternoon after doing the Baths (partly because we had some seasick crew and partly because we had dinner reservations Tuesday night at Coca Maya). We realized that one of Dive BVI's two shops was only a 2 minute walk from our dock. That allowed us to meet directly with Becca who I had previously communicated with by phone and email. She and the woman working in the shop helped us figure out some great activities for the non-diving members of our crew to do while we dove the next day.

By the way the non divers had a great time. They traveled by taxi to Savannah Bay Beach and later had lunch at Bath and Turtle. It was a highlight of our trip. The taxi driver was Patsy - the sister of the woman working in the shop.

Most of the members of my group were not very experienced - three of us had not dove in ~7 years, another had just completed his certification in a quarry in South Carolina and the other two were 12 y/o and 15 y/o girls who had completed their pool training and needed check out dives. We chose to do a 1/2 day, two tank charter instead of a group trip so the three rusty divers and the newbie could get additional supervision, and the girls could do their check out dives. Dive BVI was able to dedicate three members of their team to our boat, Becca, Rupert and their newest teammate, Tom. Becca took care of the girls while Rupert and Tom gave the rest of us a verbal refresher and then led us on two dives.

Becca did a fantastic job with the check out dives with the 12 y/o and the 15 y/o. The 12 y/o had a brief moment of anxiety on the surface before the first dive, but Becca talked her through it and the girls had a great day.

Meanwhile Rupert and Tom led the rest of us through two excellent dives at The Chimneys (Great Dog) and at Mountain Point (Virgin Gorda).

Overall the experience was truly outstanding. The BVI team guided us safely through two awesome dives.
