Shortly after we arrived we met a couple who had been visiting the resort for the last 20 years. "Heaven on earth" they called it, so our expectations were pretty high. And to be honest, very quickly we could see why they had been coming back all that time. Gino was the perfect host. Even though we stayed in one of the cheapest rooms, we were still treated like royalty and Gino made sure everything we required or needed to know was addressed.
The rooms are well equipped, clean and fairly modern, especially compared to similarly priced rooms on Tortola, which are no where near as good.
The beach and waters in front of the hotel are heaven. Shallow enough so you can stand for a while, sandy is most parts, and when venturing a bit further afield, fantastic coral reefs. During our first hour of snorkeling after arrival we were greeted by a turtle, barracuda, pufferfish, trumpetfish, stingray, and many many more. Unexpected, so blown away.
By the beach there were also some floats and kayaks for guests to use. Very nice addition and we had a great time kayaking round the corner to Savannah Bay.
From first till last minute everything was perfect. The television didn't work and they couldn't immediately fix it, but didn't care, much better things to see/do outside!
Loved it, can't wait to go back.More
