This destination is a great place to visit if you like the natural side of St. Lucia. We stayed at Anse Chastanet instead of Jade Mountain. The resort resembles tree houses. We did the Anse Mamim Plantation walk; Gros Piton, snorkeling at the base of Gros Piton and visited the volcano, mud bath, Botanical Gardens and mineral springs waters. The people are very friendly and the food was delicious. You have to be in great shape at Anse Chastanet, there are 126 steps from the beach level up to the restaurant, it’s a great workout or you can take the taxi up. The veal chop was the best dish. Veal is hard to find in Georgia. The PEPPERMINT TEA with HONEY is the best I have ever tasted. Their honey is not heavy and taste different. We loved it so much, we asked for some bags of tea to go. We paid for a small jar of honey. Anse Chastanet needs to package that tea and honey and sell it.
