We stayed (6 people - 3 generations) for a week at this magnificant home. Words and pictures can't adequately describe it but the calm that comes over your body and mind being at this location is memorable. The layout provides separation but at the same time closeness and at least one dinner must be shared at the impressive round dining room table. Everything that you could possibly need is provided and my son and his financee (who arrived two days later) arranged for fresh flowers and fruit to be in our bedroom as well as some initial food in the refrigerator when we arrived. Every interaction from the initial inquiry and lease signing to the airport pick-up and instruction tour of the home were handled in an A+++ manner. The property includes numerous flowering plants, fruit trees and other local vegetation; walks in the AM are recommended. The location is about a mile outside of Esperanza and is a great central location for just about anything. It's a terrific "home base" but on many days you will be totally satisfied not even leaving the property. The design is incredibly well thought out and the decor is impressive. While not a big reader, I found some of the books in the library fascinating and enjoyed reading about sea glass and tree houses. we've been to a lot of places but Los Arcos gets the nod as #1.

“Wow! Could not have been happier!”
Reviewed 24 March 2012 for a stay in March 2012

My spouse and I vacationed to Vieques with two other couples and we could not have picked a more perfect place! Within 15 minutes of exploring Los Arcos, all 6 of us commented that the pictures do not, and cannot, capture the splendor of the main house, the pool house, the grounds, and most importantly, the views!

Colleen and Mark were great. They both made us feel right at home.

Advice: Book Los Arcos! And until changes are made to the ferry system, do not take the ferry over to Vieques. Take the short 20 minute flight from the San Juan airport. We took the ferry on the way to Vieques (nightmare!) but booked with Cape Air on the way home (easy flight with great views - and we had a few folks with a fear of small planes).

My husband and I travel with friends each year and it can be quite a challenge to find a house that is perfect for couples. We search for homes that have all master suites. Even though the main house has a "master", I will say that I would be very happy in either of the other suites. Los Arcos is on 4 gated acres and the views are stunning. The decor is beautiful and unique. The kitchen is so well equipped that we cooked in most nights. If you are used to a luxury resort, consider this alternative. You have a wonderful spaces, privacy and quiet. Some really great restaurants are close by but you can stay at the house, relax and enjoy the view with your favorite drinks and cook lobsters from the fish market.

The salt water infinity pool is not large enough for swimming laps, but perfect for cooling off and taking in the view.

The bedrooms are air conditioned but the living areas are not. It can get hot in the kitchen and dining area. even with all the fans going. Keep that in mind if you travel during the hotter months.

All of the staff at BravosBoyz were very helpful and you get a tour and tutorial when you arrive. There is even a gardner and a cat that comes by each day.

The beaches on Vieques are very nice, but we looked forward to getting back to the house, lounging , reading, listening to music and enjoying the view.
