Got married in Negril, and spent our Honeymoon in the Lagoon Suites here. The butler was amazing!! The lagoon was beautiful, and the sunsets were incredible! The all inclusive food and entertainment was fantastic, and the catamaran and other excursions were excellent!

Room Tip: Stay on the ground floor to walk right out into the lagoon from your room!

Negril is fantastic, the resort is great but the staff knocks it out the park. The young Blue shirt Crew (the entertainment staff that runs around with the blue Playmakers shirts) are warm, fun, energetic, talented and they do an amazing job trying to keep the fun moving. Shanice and Crystal are just sweet, cool, warm, genuine young ladies and the guys, Jordini, Michael, Shaquille and Quan are very cool, crazy and fun as well. In the main dining/buffet room Elsie Ann and Kendra greeted us each day with genuine smiles and were gracious, tentative hosts and servers. Those 2 ladies along with the servers at the Barefoot by the Sea restaurant, Terrie Ann and Rushell were always tentative and a pleasure. I wish I remembered the names of all the guys that were working the bar Thursday evening 8/17/17 because along with DJ Buck (who was a very nice young man, always kept the party moving) the bar staff our last night there, made our evening feel like it was our personal going away celebration. I do remember Chris and Richard's name but not the other young men. Other bar staff like Efuru and Khani were always great hosts. What fantastic host Miss Claudia was every time we went to the Sundowner restaurant. Our stay started off with our concierge Kimoi who can light up a room with her smile and a highlight evening was when we had the pleasure of having Symoy served us a private dinner. Those 2 young ladies made us feel like we were welcome guests in their own homes. Even Chris the Lifeguard, isn't just a Lifeguard, these folks became our friends during our stay. While they did their jobs, they paid attention to us and always tried to accommodate us and add to our fun. We would have had a fantastic week if they just did their job but this staff made us feel like they were on vacation with us. There were other names we just don't remember but the bottom line is these folks made a great vacation more memorable.

I have never stayed at an all inclusive resort, not do I particularly care for that type of vacation. I would rather be out on my own exploring, but in Jamaica this seemed to be a good option.

The transport to the airport and the checkin were a little chaotic, but once we got to our room and got to decompress it was wonderful.
The property is very clean and there are a lot of areas to relax by the water.

Tips:
The main bar in the center of the resort as the best drinks - the restaurants have terrible mixed drinks so order from the big main bar for the best beverage.
Make reservations for the nice restaurants as soon as you can for your stay, they book up fast. Kimonos and Cucina Romana were very good. We tried all the restaurants and would have eaten at these two the majority of our dinner is we could so make sure you at least book one dinner there.
If it is your fancy, take advantage of the diving that they offer - my husband got advanced open water certified while we were there and his instructor and the team overall were excellent.
Also, do the shopping excursion outside the hotel to break things up a bit!

Room tip: Make sure your room is not near the part of the hotel where they do the wedding receptions. Our room was right outside and we might as well have been guests each night until 11pm because the music is so loud and there are vents in the bathroom that let noise right in.

***Just a note, you will get approached multiple times by people trying to sell you undesirable substances, You just have to know it is going to happen and brush it off***

Room Tip: Try to stay away from wedding reception area for a quiet stay

Still here, leaving tomorrow. Not completely thrilled being an all inclusive 5 star adults only resort. Let's start with the positives. Very clean with a very contemporary room. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The negatives. The restaurants were mostly good. The breakfast buffet had mainly the same thing everyday and room service was terrible. My wife used it twice once for breakfast and for dinner. Very small menu. We both ordered a Cobb salad. She asked for no ham, which was the only difference. We each got different lettuce, my egg was missing, there was barely any cheese, chicken or turkey, no bacon or avocado, and the portion was very very small. Also, room service closed at ten. We paid extra fir club level which included access to the club lounge. Usually, club lounges have extra snacks, sandwiches, and goodies that guests can get anytime. On day one, we saw a few finger sandwiches that sat all day with no ice, and some pastries in the morning that could be ordered from room service or found at the breakfast buffet. All things that you could get without wasting money on the club lounge. Maybe we've been spoiled by cheaper places where sushi, sandwiches, and a variety of other goodies was put out. I'd say the best bang for your buck would be Dreams Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Club lounge with private bartender and a myriad of amazing goodies. I'm a bit disappointed for the price

Room Tip: The club level room was amazing, but the club lounge sucked

Beautiful resort, the grounds and the rooms are beautiful kept . All of the restaurants were great , the food and the staff . Staff could not have been nicer . Must try big births it is a big couch like seat pulled by a speed boat , all kind of water sports . And a lot of relaxation . If you want to get a good spot on the beach , get your stuff on the beach chairs by 6.00 to 6.30 am. Only 1 thing wasn't great was the main building is 3 stories and had no elevator , other than that it was a great time.
