Just returned from LBP Esmeralda where we’ve spent a wonderful week with my 6 yrs old. After hurricane Maria, the resort looked like nothing happened. I’ve noticed the maintenance workers replacing some broken roof tiles but there is no sign of any damage for the eye of a regular guest.
This would be my 9th time at this resort and everything was excellent, as expected. I’ve seen some improvements over last time we visited such as beach towel service.
The room was very clean and constantly refreshed and the mini fridge replenished. The food at the main buffet was good and some time for dinner we’ve preferred to eat there over the a-al-carte.
The food and service at Bella Italia, Maiko and Garden Grill were excellent, as expected. The activities for kids (Bahia Scouts) kept my little guy busy throughout the day.
I’ve got excellent service from Edward, the butler and occasionally Meldy. The assistant general manager Jaqueline was very courteous and always around to greet the guests and make sure everyone is happy. Great service also received from Juan and Marino from the pool bar and many others that I do not remember their names.
Overall an excellent stay.More
