Wonderful staff!! Simon is on the beach, you never have to move! Willkin was wonderful, waited on us at the French Restaurant & the buffett!! The food was the best I have ever tasted. The steak was amazing!! Everthing from filet mignon to New Your sirloin, chocolate dipped strawberries, shrimp, lobster, etc!!
We travelled with a group of 12 friends and relatives and all were very impressed!! Best resort we have stayed at!!
The Coffee House was delicious!! Great coffee, frozen drinks, sandwiches, sweets!!
The Seafood Grill was really great, say Hey to Ruddy!!

We spent 5 days at the Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana Valentine’s/President’s Day Weekend and had a wonderful time. The resort was delightful and the grounds well maintained. The entire staff was extremely friendly, receptive and gracious. An assortment of activities were taking place throughout the day for those who wanted to take part and for those who didn’t; you could just sit back and watch the fun.
Food:
I had two excellent meals in Bordeaux, the French Restaurant. The first one was so good I went back a second time and had the exact same meal! World Café had an endless array of food and able to please everybody’s palate; we would experience something new and different at every meal and never a wait. Our boys enjoyed the Portofino, El Patio and Himitsu restaurants as well and felt very special dining in them.
For the coffee aficionados, you will find a variety of good, strong coffee drinks (and afternoon tea selection) at the Coco Café to see you through the day.
Our 6 year old had the most fun of all; he thoroughly enjoyed the Kids Explorers Club. He could barely sit through his breakfast each morning in anticipation for the club to open at 9:30 AM - Awilda took great care of him and had the children entertained from morning till night.
Thank you to all the staff at Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana for a wonderful holiday and we hope to be back again in the future!

The chocolate croissants and cappuccinos from the coffee shop were amazing...thanks Christina! Sitting by the water with our morning cups of coffee was something my husband and I both really enjoyed!! The waiters and staff were always friendly and willing to help ( except at the seafood restaurant where they seemed to have an attitude and where they were slower than any other restaurant!). Gasolina and the entertainment staff were always on the go and did a great job with activities all day. The fresh fruit juices in the World Cafe were terrific as were the salads. The food was kind of bland, though, especially after the Mexican all-inclusives that we usually go to. A good spicy salsa would have been a good addition to the large variety of food there. All in all, good value for the money spent.

We took our honeymoon to the Dreams Palm Beach resort in Punta Cana. The hotel staff were very accomodating and helpful. I was glad we were there in the low season - can't imagine the scramble for beach and pool chairs when it's packed! Our room was very nice, always kept clean, and the bed was comfy. There are no elevators at the hotel. The grounds are lovely. My favorite times were sitting on beach chairs and watching the sunset. The restaurants are all fine - my favorites were the Italian and the Grill (make reservations if possible). If I were to return I'd eat the the Grill as much as possible. The fruit display at breakfast is something my husband and I still talk about - it was hard to get back to grocery store mangoes.... For lunch most days we ate at the burger shack on the beach or ordered room service - the pizza is not bad. Breakfast is when you have the best opportunity to try local cuisine - check the warming stations towards the back. The resort caters to the American tourist that isn't interested in trying anything too unfamiliar- just take the island attitude and roll with it. If that's too hard, just have some more rum.

The conierge desk will help you book tours, etc., off site. Take their advice. We took a non-recommended dune-buggy excursion that, while mostly enjoyable, wasted our time in various ways. However, the recommended snorkeling and island excursions we booked were fantastic. BRING CASH - especially small bills for tips. Getting cash on- or off-site is expensive.
The activities coordinator (Mr. Gasolina) is a hoot. Just like the rest of the hotel staff, he makes an effort to remember your name, and is most interested in making sure you have a good time. It's nice to be able to play a friendly volleyball game. We got on-the-beach massages - don't expect too much, but the spa was running specials every day (2 for 1, or 50% off various services) and we had sore muscles. One other really cool thing the resort did was to set up a projection screen on the beach to show the Steelers - Titans game. That was an unexpected bonus! Overall, I'd recommend the resort, but try to go during the low season.

We recently stayed here with family and friends and had a great time. The staff is so much fun, especially Rey, Gasolina, Kelvin, Richard, Pablo, Maria (World Cafe) and Felix at the restaurants. They all went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy and having a good time. The food was very good, but it would be nice if you could make reservations. With the group we had, we had to get down to dinner by 6:30, or else have to wait for several hours. The beach was beautiful and kept very clean by the staff. The waiters bringing drinks at the beach and the pool were fantastic and fast.. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but we didn't like that the shower had no door. All in all, a really fantastic place to stay!!
