This was a lovely hotel in a historic building in the Zona Colonial. The building is beautiful and I enjoyed walking around the grounds and sitting by the pool in site of the river. The staff were helpful. The colonial room I stayed in overlooked the Panteón Nacional and had a raised second level for the bathroom and closets. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was very good.
The hotel could make a few improvements to the room. I had no clock, which was unusual and inconvenient as I was there for business and needed to be places on time. The mini fridge in the room was locked so I was unable to store snacks or leftovers. The mattress seemed quite old, as there was a large indentation in it.More
