This was our first place for st at on our trip because everything else was closed for Christmas Day. Nothing stellar to comment about other than the view. Your standard bar food and bar drinks. If you want to eat bar food with a nice beach view and calm beach area go here.

We came here twice while on honeymoon. Both times in the evening for dinner and drinks. Hands down one of the best pina coladas I have had! The fish (Mai Mai) was amazing and definitely caught that day.

My husband enjoyed his food as well, their version of steak was one of the best we had on the trip. Was hoping to try the red snapper but each time they were out.

Service is a bit slow so be sure to order your drinks ahead of time.

The food was ok but expensive, then again on an island where almost everything is imported, most food is expensive. The Stoba/stew with rice was good. However, the vegetables were overcooked. Drinks were also pricey but they made accommodations for the cocktails. Service was the typical island laid back way, so if you're looking for speed, this is not the place to go.

We came here on a Monday night on Christmas Day. We came just for appetizers and drinks as we already ate dinner back at our room in the nearby Piscadero Harbour Village. We ordered Pina Coloda, which was very good though it was expensive at about $8 USD. It was sweet and creamy! We also ordered Tiger Bread and the Deluxe Snack Platter, which took about 20 minutes to come out. I wanted to order a club sandwich, but that was only available until 5pm. The Tiger Bread was good Bread, but nothing remarkable. It came with butter, a salsa-like spread, and an olive spread. The butter was good, the others were alright. The Deluxe Snack Platter has two pieces of salmon bruschetta, Chicken drumsticks, Shrimp, Ribs and two onion ring-like items which were all decent with the best probably being the onion n ring-like item. Overall, it was a decent experience. We experienced the beach several days later on a Saturday morning. The beach was very rocky (every single inch of the ocean floor is covered in rocks) so I opted to wear my crocs into the waters, which is surprisingly clear, more so than the other beaches I’ve went to (Playa Lagun, Porto Marie, Mambo Beach). Though Pirate Bay isn’t as nice as those beaches for sure. It’s also not busy at all and thus, people watching is kinda voided here. It is a decent beach though with few fishes. I was surprised to find out that they had aquafaris here where a famous YouTube came to experience the aquamarine about a month or so ago. Aquafaris are yellow scuba-like motorcycle essentially that you take underwater to explore the deep waters. Although I was able to experience the beach for free (because I was staying at Piscadera Harbour Village), chairs cost $3 USD per. Not sure how much it costs for sometime who didn’t have a pass. To be honest, I don’t recommend this beach when there are nicer beaches elsewhere in Curacao. It is only worth it if you have a free pass (which I believe you get when you stay at the nearby hotels/apartments. Definitely not worth it if you are driving from far away.
