Our guide recommended this restaurant when we toured Havana last month. We asked him where we could have authentic Cuban food for lunch. He recommended this restaurant, which was located near Plaza de la Catedral, and suggested making a reservation. How right he was!
This restaurant is tucked in the back of a narrow street with a few other restaurants. When our morning tour ended, my husband and I came back here and were very glad we made the reservation earlier. We saw many people being turned away if they didn’t have reservations.
The food was absolutely DIVINE! Everything was very flavorful without being salty and the meat was very tender. Our modest bill included 10% gratuity, which took the guesswork out of tipping. I can see why this restaurant is so popular. It’s affordable, authentic Cuban eatery. Highly recommended – and be sure to make reservation!
Gracias por su recomendacion, Samuel, muy apreciado!
