We were a group of 9 (2 adults, 5 kids aged 8-15) - and took the 5 hour tour - which we booked ahead of time via email (very good communication with Graham). There were about 15 other people on the tour with us. It was kind of a crummy day to start b/c it rained for about the first 2 hours - but nobody can control the weather! While snorkeling with the turtles, there were many other tour groups around us, but our guide always kept good track of us, so we felt very safe. We saw a stingray and a baby and 2 adult turtles. The turtles were AWESOME! I was worried that the crowds would make it hard to see them - but not so. Whatever our guide was feeding them did the trick because they stayed around for a long time : )
After snorkeling, we took the catamaran to another area and had a delicious, relaxing lunch - where about half of the group did a little more swimming off of the boat. The crew was very welcoming and hospitable - always making sure we were happy ( there was rum punch, beer and soft drinks a plenty from the minute we stepped on the catamaran). I did a lot of research before booking this tour and overall, I'd say it was a very good value for what we got.
The only negative was one lady from another group who had a little too much to drink and kept annoying us and our kids. Since there wasn't much room on the catamaran to move around, we did our best to ignore her and make the most of the trip!
