About a week ago I attended, what i still consider as my favorite restaurant in Barbados. The food is always great while the ambiance off it all offers that hint of romantic feel any ocean front restaurant gives. But there is something extra special about this place that can only be experienced by oneself.

My girlfriend and I were accompanied by another couple of close friends and we greatly enjoyed our meals and service.

To start the mushroom risotto was fantastic as well the crab crepe. As for the main courses, the steak and barracuda were exceptional. While from the bar, it didn't disappoint either, as the whiskey sours were mixed to perfection.

It was a great night and I will continue to always recommend Champers to anyone.

My husband and I had dinner at Champers during our stay in Barbados in early June. It was recommended by our travel agent and also several guests at our resort. From the minute we drove up, it was pure class. We had cocktails at the lounge area off the bar before we were seated. It was beautifully furnished and totally elegant. We were seated at a table on the edge of the dining room overlooking the water. Unbelievable view. Our server was very attentive and very helpful when we had questions about he menu. We shared a spring roll appetizer and my husband had the tuna and I had the red snapper. Both dinners were cooked to perfection and definitely just caught.
The service was impecable. In other reviews, some travellers thought the prices were on the high side. We didn't feel anything was overpriced at all.
If you are looking for that special dinner this is the place to go. Elegant but not pretentious. We had the opportunity to speak to one of the managers on our way out and she was very personable and down to earth.
This was our first trip to Barbados and we will be back and Champers will be on the top of our list.

This restaurant is just beautiful.
The staff are very good, you can see it is not their first time around.
What can you say about the setting, sit by the railing and risk a splash or two.
The whole experience was just awesome, food is delicious, drinks are great.
Upon my return to Barbados, i will definitely go back.

Everything was perfect! If you're looking to get off the resort for a dinner I highly recommend it! Both of our appetizers and meals were so good!

Champers is a lovely restaurant with great ambiance. However all three times I have been to the restaurant, I was "underwhelmed" by the food. I know the restaurant is rated as a fine dining experience but I find the food to be just ok. I think they are catering to the palate of tourist and do not try to incorporate more Barbadian and Caribbean flavours in their meals.
