From the moment we booked the room, Hannah went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We opted to upgrade our room to the St. Regis suite overlooking the beautiful pool and beach - well worth it. Upon arrival, Cadir and Earl took care of us - ensuring we had everything we needed (which they did each day). Hannah and the Head Butler organized to have champagne and a birthday cake in the room for my birthday, super thoughtful.
Service: staff was friendly and attentive to guest needs, from opening door, putting extra water in the room, coordinating taxis, towels at the pool and beach, or any other special request
Food: BLT dinner was terrific - snapper and chocolate mousse especially. Breakfast at Lina was just ok (buffet). Fish tacos on the lunch menu were outstanding.
Rooms: very nice, spacious, clean, comfortable. Definitely book an ocean front, not ocean view room
Pool: beautiful, and loved relaxing the hot tub at the end of the day. One caution - drink service stops at 5:30pm; however, there appeared to be some flexibility since guests wanted to stay at the pool longer
Beach: really nice to have a private beach. you can do some snorkeling right at the property if you do not want to make the short trip over to Tobacco Bay or rent a boat (bring your own snorkel gear)
Gym: well appointed gym with towels, wipes, water and all the equipment you need for a vacation workout
Golf: we ended up not playing golf at the hotel (played another course in Bermuda), but the greens were in great shape and a great activity to do while waiting for your covid test results
Location: really enjoyed staying in St. George, it felt like a secret oasis compared to the locations of the other high end hotels. Definitely rent a scooter to get out and about Bermuda, but taxis are also readily available.
Overall: the hotel was extraordinarily relaxing, beautiful property, and I would definitely stay here in the future
