Never been to Aruba before this trip. I picked this particular resort because we're celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and we wanted a place that was relaxing, uncrowded and with good food. Didn't want the spring break crowd or the family crowd.

This resort is wonderful! It's small, only 72 rooms. Almost all the rooms have the ocean view because the place is shaped like a half-moon. Almost everyone has the ocean view. Fabulous beach. Bigger than neighborbing resorts and much less crowded. No chair wars for the pool or the beach palapas. 72 rooms and I counted 58 palapas on the beach. I never had trouble finding a chair. Loungers are kept locked up so things are in order on that beach. Walk either direction and you'll see just what a great beach this resort has. Read the reviews of the high rise hotels and hear all about how cut-throat securing chairs and the pool and the beach can be.

The only thing I would recommend is .... a little music on the beach. A few times Pega Pega or the pavilion had music playing but mostly it was quiet. Needs some music. Pega Pega one day was playing 1970 Michael Jackson. I'm talking Aruban music.

This resort is very clean. Wonderfully clean.

Food at this resort is amazing. Pega Pega for beach bar/grill food and Ikes for breakfast and dinner or THe Chophouse for dinner. A little fancy for what we're used to but we sure got used to that fast. Wonderful service and teriffic food. Tastes that I've never experienced (at the Cracker Barel or Outback steakhouse!) and prepared and presented in ways I've never seen. This was a new experience for us and the fact that we didn't have to play "dress up" to dine at these places was so nice.

We like to travel to different places each trip so I won't be back to Aruba for a while but the memories of this place will last forever. This was a wonder resort, small and intimate without being pushy or snobby. Staff was great and helpful and food was delicious. Housekeeping was excellent and we felt safe while on this property. Anything you want, they'll help you get.

I highly highly HIGHLY recommend..

This is the most beautiful and enjoyable beach, in my opinion. It’s gorgeous, relatively uncrowded, and because of the curving shoreline, it feels more spacious than the others. Plus, it has the best restaurants on it (Elements and Ricardo’s are both excellent in their own way). Very peaceful, and highly recommended.

One of the best aruba beaches where you can relax. There are not many people like in the other beaches. Perfect to hear the waves of the sea. The service on the beach is excellent. We will return soon

Very relaxing and quiet. Sand is white and as soft. Not as busy and noisy as the high rise area. The palapas are spaced out so your on top of everybody else. You do need to get there early to get a palapa as they fill up fast.
