We had a LOT of fun on the Jolly Pirates cruise. We went snorkeling in three locations. The first was the wreck of the Antilla, a German vessel that sank during WWII-very cool. The sea was choppy there that day, so it was a little rough, even though we are decent swimmers. The Malmok area was our third and final stop and perhaps the best snorkeling experience of our tour. This is also where we 'walked the plank' and got to use the rope swing- which was a ton of fun! Javier, Jose, Eduardo and the rest of the crew were very friendly and a LOT of fun - always joking around. Lunch wasn't bad. Overall, the trip was a pretty decent value. My youngest (12 years old) has sensory issues and didn't have much fun, but my 17 and 20 year old kids loved it. It was also nice to spend some time under sail as opposed to motoring around. We were told to take the morning cruise as the afternoon cruises tend to be a bit rowdier. DO make sure you bring (and use) plenty of sunscreen. We failed to re-apply often enough and a few of us paid the price.

My wife and I have been on the Jolly Pirates Cruise (snorkeling) four times in all of our visits to Aruba. I couldn't imagine there being something you don't like about this boat and moreso the crew.

They are fun, energetic, accommodating, friendly, and just a blast to spend your morning with. They play excellent music and although I was with three other couples, this is a very family fun oriented trip.

The sites might be the same as other tours, but the ambiance definitely is not. I can't wait until my next adventure with them!

We found this to be great fun and a great value. We went on the evening cruise (beverages and swing) and went back on the morning cruise (3 snorkels, swing, lunch & beverages) to extend the fun. The "pirates" were very helpful, the lunch was good. The snorkelers of our group enjoyed that and everybody enjoyed the swing whether they participated of not. I would recommend it for anyone who wanted just a pleasurable cruise, as well, as it's interesting seeing the island from the water side. We had wanted to take the dinner cruise, but it was not available.

Wow! The rum punch was endless!!! Although Aruba and the pirate cruise was fun it was the least favorite island and excursion our family of 4 went on during our 12 day cruise. We can not give a negative poke at anything. Friendly crew, fun entertainment, great drinks, OK snorkeling, and loved the party pick up bus! With that being said, in comparison to the other islands we visited and activities we encountered it was just plain mediocre at best.

Great crew, very friendly and funny. They know how to entertain the guest! Lots of booze too!! It was $57 each for 4.5 hours of food, drink, and snorkling. I would call that a great deal!!
