This little jewel just breathes elegant zen! From the minute I stepped on the property, it was a great experience. The food is delicious, the spa service is great (first real massage I've had in France) and the property is breathtaking. The staff are also very welcoming helpful. We didn't spend much time off the property and never had the feeling of being in a resort (again, the design is sUperb!). The best part: Eco-friendly all the way. A must do!

This hotel, situated in the heart of "Yves Rocher" land is situated in a nest of green, surrounded by the bio garden used to supply the restaurant.

the buildings blend with the surroundings, all rooms have a nice terrace.

The spa (pool et. al) are nice and very luminous.

massage services are very professional and welcoming

last but not least, the restaurant offers jolly excellent and 100% bio wine list quite worthy of interest

We stayed with two teenage children for a night on our way home from southern France. Excellent modern facilities, lovely shower room, wonderful rural setting a short walk from the very pretty town of La Gacilly. The hotel has a spa with a really beautiful indoor pool. Excellent dinner and good breakfast.

We were surprised to find that the only complimentary toiletries were shower gel and shampoo. Granted that the hotel is run by the Yves Rocher company, we expected that they'd use it as a means of promoting their products! - and some hand lotion and hair conditioner would have been nice.

The only other complaint was the the swimming pool doesn't open till 10am. We'd have really loved to have gone for a swim before breakfast, but were unable to do so.

Overall, highly recommended.

This hotel is perfect if you just want to chill out completely. All rooms have access to a private area to sit outside and look out to the meadows and countryside. The rooms are very comfortable and stylish and the addition of the Yves Rocher products in the bathroom are a bonus. The first thing I did was go to the spa to buy the handsoap which was in our bathroom; it smelt so good!

You definitely have to book spa treatments ahead - unfortunately we didn't, but we were still able to use the hammam and pool, which was a lovely indoor infinity pool with awesome views.

The nearby town of La Gacilly is a 5 minute walk away through a nature trail and is a cultural town - there was a photography exhibition taking place across the whole town and every other shop seemed to be an art gallery!

We mainly just relaxed in our room or in the pool or walking around the grounds and veggie patches.

Dinner was good both nights as was breakfast. You can also eat outside when the weather permits.

Overall it's a great place to recharge.
