When I first checked the hotel through various websites I was positively intrigued to stay there . Unfortunately my expectations were not met. Although entrance of the hotel and the lobby seems very interesting and promising I can not say the same thing for the room that I stayed in. It had a bad smell like something had died inside or the room wasn’t cleaned for a very long time. The beds were not tidy, like someone left on a hurry. The first nigh around 20:00 no hot water, I was forced to take a shower with ice cold water like being in the army. The room big but not very clean. For some reason they gave me a room for people with kinetic problems, meaning that the bathroom was big, with a shower but with no curtain to separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom. The result was that when I was taking a shower the whole bathroom was flooded with water.
The breakfast was also a disappointment. Not very attractive, it wasn’t refilled often because nobody was there to check.
The inside of the lobby was ok but people were smoking!!!!!!!! The parking of the hotel is very narrow and it cannot host more than 4-5 cars. There is a space across the hotel but you have to cross the main road which is dangerous and uncomfortable as well.
Don’t think that I will prefer it again.

We stayed at Loriet Hotel for 5 nights during July. All I can say is WOW. The hotel itself was excellent. The main hotel is an old mansion which has been converted to hotel rooms. This provides a nice homely aristocratic feel. We stayed in the honeymoon suit which was located behind the main hotel. The room definitely made us feel like we were on honeymoon. The pool is also behind the main hotel. This was also a main attraction and a very needed relief in the hot summer days. Our host Julian was a particularly pleasant and helpful guy. As it was out first time on the island he helped us with suggestions on where to go and what to do and see. He definitely went out of his way to make us feel looked after.

I stayed in Loriet with my best friend for a week and we just couldn't leave. Accommodation was amazing (room, amenities, etc.), the hotel itself is super beautiful, with an amazing pool and surrounded by green and right next to the sea. Stuff is warm, welcoming and very friendly and we will certainly be coming back! Thanks for the beautiful stay!

It was wonderful to be greeted so warmly when we arrived from Athens at The Loriet Hotel (we needed this after living in Athens). It is so convenient too. Right between the city and the airport and close to the beautiful beaches. But with such a lovely pool our son was happy just to stay and swim here all day. This was absolutely fine for my husband and I as we could enjoy true Mytilenian cuisine while soaking up the atmosphere of this historic hotel. Thank you for the memories - we look forward to returning again soon.
