“Good Times”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2012

Our stay at Puaikura didnt feel like just ordinary accomodation, it had more of a community feel to it. In the morning guests would be mingling in the communal courtyard, the care taker picking and breaking coconuts from the poolside tree for them to enjoy. When we would walk to our room (2) we would be greeted by other guest enjoying the same view from their balcony areas. Puaikura sets this atmosphere and it helped make us feel secure during our stay.
We found the service here to be superb. Fresh towels even when we didnt need any! There is nothing that the staff would not go out of their way to help us with. 5 days scooter on the house was a bonus! They were most accommodating even after we checked out in the a.m as out flight wasnt until 2am, holding our belongings and still making us feel welcome and taken care of. Thanks Jaz and Leron in particular for being so super! PS Don't compain about the roosters, you're in Raro- and you do get used to them!

We stayed 4 days at Puaikura Reef Lodge and enjoyed being in the older part with louvre windows that were open all the time, rather than the newer part with ranchsliders. Across the road is a lovely beach and we swam a lot. Coral shoes are ideal & supplied by the lodge. Standing up in the water it is so clear and great to see fish swimming around. We were in a Standard one bedroom, but it was a spacious two rooms. Clean and lovely pawpaw breakfast, jams & butter & fresh bread supplied on arrival. The jewels are the staff - friendly Jazz & Lotu. Woken up at 3 am with crowing cockerels but that is a sign of being in Rarotonga!

We had an INCREDIBLE time staying at Puaikura Reef Lodge. The hospitality from Lotu, Sue and family were amazing. We stayed one night in the lode, and then was moved to a private cottage further up the road. Even though we were off-site, we were very well looked after the entire time.

Our accommadation was amazing, as was all the referrals to island trips and adventures.

We are so looking forward to coming back again. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, friendly, welcoming people and a awesome holiday.

Room Tip: Pool-side has a brilliant view - but we loved the cottage.

We were greeted warmly at the airport and the warmth from the staff continued without fail throughout our whole time spent here. We loved every moment and found the staff very easy to converse and deal with. The beach was just across the road and having a store and cafe next door was just the best. What a great place to stay and we are already planning our next trip back. Thank you guys for helping to make our first Rarotonga experience a wonderful time that we will never forget. Hope to see yous in a little while. PUAIKURA REEF LODGES ROCK BRO!!

Room Tip: Get an extra fan for sleeping at night.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 February 2012

From the moment we were met at the airport to departure we could not have been more satisfied with the service from the staff. Room was clean and tidy, pool was great, any questions we had to ask were dealt with promptly. Most impressed with the transport to the airport especially at 2330hrs, doubt you would find that at too many resorts without cost attached. Just what we needed to get away from the earthquakes, have not slept that well since September 2010,
thank you.
