“Awesome!”
Reviewed 17 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

This was exactly what my family was looking for; wonderful views, kitchen to cook in, space to spread out, quiet, lots of bathrooms and a pool. This is a fantastic place for a relaxing get away. We were able to go for some scenic walks. The place is VERY hard to find. Luckily the property manager found us driving around and showed us the way.
Kitchen is well stocked with pots/utensils for what is needed for basic cooking. There is no coffee maker though. You will need to purchase all cooking ingredients to cook with as they did not even have salt and pepper.
Do not plan to swim in the pool in April. We had unseansably hot weather and it was still freezing cold. It looks beautiful though, especially at night with the lights. The bathroom outside was great for when you are outside and a great surprise.
We ran out of hot water but a call and they came and turned on the electric water heater so we were not just relying on solar. I would suggest you do this immediately, especially if you plan to us the whirlpool tub.
The washer was helpful but without a dryer the towels that we needed to wash mid week were hard and scratchy from hanging them to dry.
Wonderful outdoor eating and BBQ area.
We did not use the sauna as they needed 12 hours notice and being on holiday and spontaneous we were not that planned ahead, which was unfortunate.
Definitely need a car.
Beds are a bit hard for my wife's taste.
Living room furniture smells a bit like plastic.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and if we ever go back to the wonderful island of Malta would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This villa was just the best, really stunning, with amazing views and everything was perfect on arrival. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, all the beds were ready made including the sofa bed. The outside area was tidy and the pool was sparkling.

We suffered bad weather the first full day we were there and had a power cut, but we called the guys in charge and within 2 hours a guy was there to fix the electricity and fish our garden furniture out of the pool (we experiences strong winds).

We had a BBQ one evening, and the only bad thing was the local wildlife - there are beetles all over Malta that come out at night and fly at the lights, so I don't recommend leaving strong lights on around the table outside if you are sitting there.

We went to Blue Grotto which is super close and had an amazing meal at a restaurant there which did great seafood and spent a day swimming there.

We had space for parking on the property for two small cars, the villa was quiet and very comfortable.

Received the deposit within 2 weeks of leaving the property. The entire time it was super easy to communicate with the management of the property who were polite, and answered all my questions no matter how silly they were!

I want to go back already, and definitely recommend it to anyone. Also, weather was still 27 degrees in beginning of October, I got a fantastic tan by the pool!!

Liked best: It looked exactly like the photos which is rare with many places that you book online
Liked least: The bugs, which were nothing to do with the villa itself, just a Malta thing.

What a superb property!

Atop a hill and overlooking a valley on the outskirts of a residential village, Zurrieq. The villa is completely private - no neighbors. It is South facing, meaning we enjoyed long, long sunny days by the pool with absolutely gorgeous red sun set skies in the evening - perfect for BBQ.

The villa owners did such a fantastic job with the decoration -- it's a mix between classical and modern -- very high quality furnishings, the type you would expect in a five star hotel or one's personal home.

The kitchen was absolutely huge -- I love cooking -- I found the kitchen was excellently equipped! Clean, neat and very elegant. A mini grocery was only walking distance from villa - but we got many of our groceries done from a supermarket at another village close by. If you love fish, do not miss going to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk on Sunday morning!

All bedrooms enjoy en-suites and again, all bedrooms were finished to very high standards.

What can I add? This was really a relaxing week for all the family -- the peace and quiet meant I finished my books by the pool and had to go get another -- the villa is atop a valley so I had to wrap the kids and myself in a cardi in the eves -- the kids loved running around the villa garden...my husband enjoyed jogging all the way down to Blue Grotto and uphill every other morning!

We loved the villa so much, we preferred hanging around relaxing around the pool and air-conditioned rooms rather than sightseeing in the heat much of the mornings.

...already saving up for our next one!
