We had one night stay at this lovely hotel close to the Church Square in this sleepy Spanish Town. Our room, a suite, was large and very comfortable and looked out on to the covered inner courtyard which was festooned with lovely plants. Dinner in the splendid dining room was very good (we booked on a half board basis) but the service could have been quicker as we waited 45 minutes to be offered dessert and there were only two other tables occupied, each by single diners. It didn't matter though as we were not in a rush and were enjoying the house wine which accompanied the meal.
Breakfast next day was served in the bar and was hot toast accompanied by a basket of pots of jams, pâtés and cheeses with a choice of pastries plus tea or coffee. It was certainly adequate but we would have liked some fruit as well.
The hotel was easy to find (in that the SatNav took us straight there) and there was lots of free parking in the Church Square close by.
The bar, open to the public has modern furniture, but the itself was full of lovely artwork, furniture and artefacts.
It was a taste of real Spain and we would be very happy to stay here again,More
