“good location, very nice place”

This was a nice place. There were only three of us, so we each got our own bedroom. One has en suite bathroom, the other two share one. Will stocked with simple things like laundry detergent, pancake mix, etc.

Well worth it for the price. The neighbors have a few roosters that will wake you up at sunrise, but we were generally getting up by then anyway. Other neighbors were not happy about roosters, expect this will resolve itself. Close to coffee shop, grocery, Zion road. Would definitely go again.

“Great alternative to a hotel if visiting Zion”
Reviewed 18 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Stayed three nights recently when visiting Zion. For about the same price as staying at a hotel we instead got to stay at a nice cozy little house. It's only about 20-30min away from the entrance to Zion and it was worth the extra drive. There's not much in the town, but it is close to a gas station and supermarket. The house itself was very clean and had every amenity I could think of. Access to washer and dryer was very nice as well as a dishwasher. Wifi and netflix were great to have. Inclusion of pancake mix and syrup made me super giddy after a few days of eating trail food. Im a sucker for pancakes.

There were a few downsides though.
First was that there were roaches in the house. It started off as a couple the first night. The second night I was sitting on the couch and found one crawling on my leg. By the end of the night my friend and I had found 5 more. Im not too bothered by bugs so it wasn't a big deal for me, but a lot of people they would not like to deal with roaches. My friend who I was staying with was really freaked out. I don't know if it was really the owners fault. It was raining hard so that may have been a factor. They also could have come from one of the neighbors. We informed the owner of the roaches so she may have dealt with the issue by now.
Second thing, when it rained, water seeped through the front awning so you would get wet if you had to step outside.
The worst part about the house was that the neighbors had roosters that would crow early every morning. It's not something that's the owners fault but it may be something you have to deal with.

Dear Guest,
Thanks so much for coming and staying with us while you hiked in Zion.
I was sorry to hear about the roaches. It must have had something to do with the big rain that we had. I sprayed right after you checked out and found dead ones outside, but none inside. I am not sure what happened because we have never had a guest before or after that has seen roaches. I guess it was just nature doing its thing.
I was not aware of the awning issue, I will look into it.
As for the roosters, they seem to be a recent addition to the neighborhood and I will see if I can come up with a solution with the neighbor. I guess some of those things come with small town life, but I will mention it in our description.
Thanks again for staying with us and helping us to be aware of improvements we can make to make your stay as nice as possible.

“Excellent vacation rental near Zion National Park”

We really enjoyed our stay at this rental location! It was very spacious, with three bedrooms and a large living room & kitchen. It was neat and clean, nice décor! It had a full kitchen and an outside grill which we used several times to cook our own meals.

The cottage was very convenient to Zion and other local areas.

We highly recommend this place and would definitely want to come back the next time we visit Zion NP! Thanks for everything!

“Great value and close to many natural wonders”

The one mistake we made was not staying longer! The accommodations were clean and well taken care of. You can tell there has been recent upgrades and modernization. The area was very quiet and relaxing. The location is close to Zion’s National Park and the beautiful red rock country was wonderful. It was very roomy with 3 bedrooms and two baths. We found the kitchen well stocked and the outside Bar-b-que would be great when the weather gets a little warmer. Though there were only the two of us, it could easily accommodate 6. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to and fast. We enjoyed the flat screen TV and the availability of Netflix and Hulu to watch our favorite movies and TV shows.
There was plenty of parking.
We are from Mesa Arizona and it was amazing to look at the night sky here and it was also really quite, no traffic noise at all.
They are just starting to work on the yard, but based on what the house looks likeI am sure it will look good. There is a gigantic tree on the property that will provide wonderful shade in the summer.
We would stay again and hope to soon.

Liked best: Proximity to Zion National Park
Liked least: The house next door is ugly, but I saw them working on it and the yard, so I am sure it will be better.
