A great natural historical site. Amazing views. There is a fee to get into the park but it is well worth it. Prepare for walking. A must place to go.

The list of adjectives can go on forever. If you come here and are not overcome by what you see then there's no helping you. Simply the greatest natural thing you'll see your entire life.

This was my first visit to the Grand Canyon, and it was as impressive as I had been told. We visited the South Rim and only had a day, so we decided to get an early start and concentrate first on the Rim Trail. We walked about half the distance from the Village Shuttle Transfer point to Hermits Rest, riding the shuttle a bit at the beginning and end, as well as for the trip back to the village. Our favorite stop was probably Hopi Point, although each of the overlooks offered a different and interesting view. We were glad for our early start because it got us out before the crowds, even in October, began to build. Next we hiked down into the Canyon on the Bright Angel Trail. We only went about a third of the way down toward the canyon floor, but it gave us another different view to remember. After a late lunch, we drove to the Desert View Watchtower, stopping only briefly at Moran Point. We thought that the Watchtower was interesting and, again, you get a different view of the canyon from here. The only downside to visiting the Grand Canyon is the crowd of other visitors. I can’t imagine doing this in the summer when there are even more people, and for our next visit I think that we will visit the North Rim where I’m told there are fewer visitors.

Words and pictures cannot describe how amazing this place is. A must to see in person to appreciate Gods beauty. Absolutely stunning views from the red line tram. The staff are very informative on which places are the best and what you will see at each stop. Definitely put this place on your bucket list, you won’t regret it.

You know the canyon is cool and pretty but nothing really compares to standing there, feeling the sheer size and history of the place. The south rim is gorgeous - you can get great views of the river and to the east you can check out the watchtower which is a really cool place covered on the inside with amazing native art.
