It was magical - probably took us twice as long as it should have as we kept stopping and staring at all of the hoodoos and stunning colors. It's like being on a different planet - the pinks, reds, whites, coral colors, the driftwood, the hoodoos. Not a difficult hike but may take some time on the steep areas - you have to go down into and up out of the canyon afterall. Just take your time and you can do it!!! A must do!!!!

While there are many hikes in Bryce Canyon, this is by far my favorite. The hike down into the hoodoos is amazing and the hike back out is very doable. Be sure to take your camera and remember to stop often and look all around = even up and down = so much to see = nature at its most majestic.

Bryce Canyon National Park has many fabulous lookouts and trails but this short trail loop is of medium effort and brings you right among the hoodoo rock formations. Hiking down is of course easier than coming back up and be sure to wear good shoes, already broken in, and bring a bottle of water. Enjoy the beautiful peach sandstone with red highlights here and there. The walk was a little too much for one in our group and he had to keep stopping to rest so if this might be you, only walk a short way down and then come back out the way you started.

If you're visiting Bryce Canyon and only have time for one hike, this should be the one! Hiking down into the hoodoos is absolutely amazing. We combined the Navajo Loop with the Peekaboo Loop for a 5.5 mile round trip hike. It was hard with a LOT of up and down, but definitely worth it!

See Bryce Canyon from the view points is awesome in itself. But to get up close and personal with the hoodoos is intense. The recommended route is clockwise and that’s what we did. It’s a short hike overall and moderate, except for the last climb out. Thank goodness for switchbacks! When you get to the Navajo loop, you have to make a decision which way to go out. We chose the Wallstreet path to the left. It is a little longer, so I thought it would be less steep overall. Anyway, it was incredible. So many hoodoos and so many colors. I highly recommend this loop.
