Great location very near Shinjuku station making it easy to get around Tokyo. Many restaurants nearby and shopping. Rooms are great and the lounge was nice to visit for a break. Rooms are very comfortable and I loved the bath products - grapefruit smell!

We stayed here twice during our visit to Japan.
The front desk of the hotel was difficult to find at first, but I believe we entered from the wrong side of the building. There are really comfy seats to sit in while you wait to get checked in, and front desk staff were very efficient with the large crowd checking in.

On the first stay we were in a Plaza Luxe Corner King room. I advised the hotel when booking that we were staying for a special occasion and we were presented with a nice chocolate cake gift at check in. Our room was spacious and modern. We also had access to the club lounge included in this room. The views from the lounge were amazing and there was a variety of snacks and drinks provided.

On the second stay we were were in a Princess Kitty room. This room was very highly priced, but for a Sanrio lover, it was a must even for a short stay. The room comes with all sorts of Princess Hello Kitty items, such as sofa, kettle, wallpaper, and also includes some items you can take home like bow water bottle (the same as found at Sanrio Puroland), pink & purple slippers, and of course the Hello Kitty dolls. I have heard these change on occasion, ours had on yukatas in the same pattern that was provided in our room.

The location of the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Shinjuku station (mostly through covered tunnel, and another smaller station is about a 3 minute walk in the opposite direction (forgive me, I forget the name). The Metropolitan Government building is a very short walk.

There are so many dining options in the hotel. Unfortunately we only ate there during breakfasts. Our favorite place was Jurin, which had buffet style and chefs who cooked different items at request every morning. I cannot remember all of the options, but one morning there were omelets. We liked Jurin more mainly due to the atmosphere in the morning - it was bright and the large windows provided great people watching as everyone was heading to work. We also liked Glass Court, though the lines were often much longer than Jurin, and I found the atmosphere not as good. Both restaurants offered western & Japanese style breakfast foods.

Great Location in Shinjuku, walkable to restaurants and shopping.

The Airport limosine bus service stops at this hotel - so if you fly into Haneda you can catch the bus straight to the Hotel which is very easy to navigate and depending on the time of day can take 30 mins to over an hour.

We had a triple room - stayed there twice during our 2 weeks in Japan - the second room was much larger than the original one we stayed in - both were in the South Tower.

We had booked the Hello Kitty (themed) room which was going to be a treat - but the hotel contacted us and told us that it was being renovated so disappointingly we missed out

Good for a family, close to the JR and subways stations. Great location.

Room tip: South Tower has been recently renovated

Smooth Japanese efficiency, attentive staff, choice of restaurants, spacious and comfortable rooms, difficult to fault! The breakfast choice was excellent, the club restaurant on a higher floor had excellent views and comfortable seating. The Japanese Teppan Yaki restaurant on the first floor was the best I have ever visited, but expensive! The hotel is easy to walk from, in one direction to shopping streets filled with choice, and in the other to parks to walk through - although the month we visited it was too hot to do so for long! It is a large hotel, however, which means a sense of character, or homliness, is lacking. But for a comfortable, efficiently run operation, it succeeds. And the Teppan Yaki restaurant is to die for!

Room tip: The higher the better

Great hotel with fantastic sized rooms as we needed a triple . Room service tasty and not too pricey. Breakfast buffet a bit overpriced for basic items . Chosen for location as most day tours picked up from hotel and limo bus drops to door . Quiet clean and spacious . But of a walk to main Shinjuku restaurant area and esp when lugging suitcases to the train .
