As a Hilton Honors member, I always try to stay in Hiltons first. When in Tokyo I always try to stay at the Hilton Shinjuku. While its a bit of a hike from Narita, it's in a good area with easy access to shopping, dining and the subway system.

The rooms are nice, the Executive Lounge is nice, the Breakfasts to die for.......If you can't find something you like here, you don't like anything!!

Service is always good as well.

First time in Tokyo, we decided to splash out a bit for lovely spacious King Tower Suite...huge with access to the executive lounge where we were able to grab free breakfast each morning along with drinks in the evening.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel has a wonderful buzz to it.
In house dining and drinks a bit pricey so stuck to the lounge and brought some stuff in from the 7/11.
Location is good with the main station and shopping areas walkable (20 mins) or a quick taxi ride away or grab the free shuttle provided by the hotel.

I stayed here while visiting my son, who teaches in Tokyo. Very good business class hotel, with a good executive lounge for Honors members. The breakfast options were very good, all fresh, all presented pleasantly. In the evening, you have to be there 5-7pm for the happy hour to get pre-dinner snacks. These were OK, but not sufficient to allow you to skip dinner afterwards. The rooms were clean and neat, housekeeping did a great job straightening our mess. The hotel is close to transportation, shopping, and to the Shinjuku area, and it is also quiet and a little away from the action, so it isn't too noisy.

For getting around, there is an underground shopping area access by stairs near the lobby restaurant. There is a mini-mart there for light snacks and any toiletries, and you can also access a walking tunnel to take you to the nearest metro station (you really want to take that instead of walking to Shinjuku station, which is large confusing and busy). In fact, there are tunnels connecting things all through the area of the hotel, which are god options to get around without worrying about traffic, crossing streets, etc.

One last advantage of the hotel is that it is a regular stop for the airport bus to Narita or Haneda. Unless you want to spend a lot more, or be a lot more frazzled by using public transportation, this is the best option from either airport.

Room tip: views of the City from either side, so choose one higher up as you wish (and want to pay)

We booked a stay of 7 days through Luxury Escapes, giving us a great launch pad from which to see Tokyo.
The rooms were very comfortable, a good size with a comfortable bed and plenty of amenities.
The breakfasts had a wide variety of choices and the staff at the ‘egg station’ were never flustered, no matter how many patrons and super efficient.
Generally all the staff through out the hotel were very helpful.
We were lucky to catch an offer through Luxury Escapes, for standard rooms with breakfast.
All rooms have a view, due to the Hilton’s position.
Loved the attention to detail in Marbles Bar, especially the Christmas decorations.
Below there is a 24 hour convenience store and we walked to the main subway every day, rather than take the shuttle bus. This took around 20 minutes.(good exercise)
Would love to stay again.

Really enjoyed the stay here.
The courtesy bus shuttle to the nearby Shinjuku station is regular and makes transit to and from the shopping and train easy.
Staff are great and all the food we tried was of a super high standard.
If yo wish to walk to the action areas of Shijuku it takes about ten minutes.
Head out and around the back of the hotel till you hit main road. Turn right, you will start seeing lights and it is fairly obvious which way you walk.
Room is large, concierge was fabulous to get ideas and assistance from so a overall good stay in a busy hotel in the business end of town.
