Set on a headland at the western end of the very attractive Mirissa Beach, the Palace Mirissa enjoys a stunning location with 270 degree sea views. Because of the elevation, I preferred the Palace to the superficially superior partner hotel, the Mirissa Beach Club. Accommodation is in individual chalets which are large but under furnished - perfectly adequate none the less. Breakfast is excellent, evening meals -as others have commented - less so. You can, however, eat at the Mirissa Beach Club, which is better, though the best option is to choose one of the several beach cafes which serve superb, fresh sea food. OK, so you've paid for half board, but it won't blow the budget. Friendly, helpful staff. I'd go back there.
