It takes a bit of an effort to get to this restaurant. From the nearby village it is a couple of miles on a pretty bad road. But this effort is definitely worth it.
The place looks very nice, the views are stunning and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful.
But the best part was certainly the food. Wonderful antipasti, delicious primi and excellent secondi. All with local products. The dolce were very nice and followed by surprising alcoholic drinks.
We had a wonderful time and are already planning the next visit.

This place was very far out of the way on a bad road, but it was located on a hill overlooking the valley. We walked into a cozy room with a welcoming fire. The home was 1000 years old and had many antiques. The host was very gracious and couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. We decided to have dinner at the home and were not disappointed. She served a traditional Italian dinner with several courses and each course was special. Everything was made in house with fresh ingredients grown there. After dinner she brought us several types of local liqueur to try. Breakfast was a similar experience as well as dinner the following night. Beds were comfortable, showers small, lights not overly bright. But no matter, this was truly a remarkable experience.
