Driving around the mountains between La Spezia and Cinque Terre we run into this charming family restaurant specialized in traditional local food.
People were so friendly hardly spoke English but understood everything we wanted which was good food and wine.
Traditionally like in the old days using technique lasting for hundreds of years stands the old guy baking local bread called panigacci in an open oven.
In the two +/- hours we have been there numerous pices of panigacci came out of his hand and that is the peak of the place.
Everything you eat is first put on the bread, now you fold it and there it goes.
The taste of the meat, cheese, salad or other sauces served together with the magical panigacci is something else.
