We visited Piramal Haveli as a group of 10 people - 8 adults and 2 kids. The haveli is very close to the State Highway and convenient to locate.
As you enter, the haveli exudes an old world charm. The 2 halves of the haveli are in sharp contrast to each other. One has been renovated and converted into the hotel and the second half lies decrepit. We occupied 4 rooms. The rooms were good, though some of them were exceptionally dark due to lack of natural light. The bathrooms were clean but some had clogged drains.
The entire place was full of peacocks and peahens. I have never seen so many peacocks together and it was a real treat. It rained on one of the days we were there and the peacocks could be seen dancing.
The highlight of our trip was the food. Though the menu was fixed, the food was finger-licking good. The staff was courteous enough to prepare separate dishes for the kids who found Rajisthani food spicy. The snacks served in the evenings along with tea were devoured as soon as they appeared.
The staff was helpful and accommodated all our needs with a smile. It's a great place for group outings and some relaxation.

Dear Guest,

We thank you for your appreciative feedback about The Piramal Haveli heritage hotel in Shekhawati.

We are glad to learn that you were able to enjoy the flora and fauna within the 20th C. hotel, and were able to relax, away from the busy urban life.

We have conveyed your appreciation about the food to the Chef and his team.

It is highly rewarding when someone at the receiving end such as guests like you can sense the effort and love in converting an old building to welcome guests. we have shared your positive feedback about the service with the Manager and his team that aim at crating memorable experiences for all our guests.

We thank you for your visit and look forward to welcoming you at our other 27 ‘non-hotel’ Hotels across India.

I stayed here for one night.
Shekhawati zone in Rajasthan has a unique heritage. This has been homeland for BANIYA community, who were famous for their sharp business acumens. Due to their hard work and intelligence, this community had accumulated plenty of wealth, which is reflecting in numerous HAVELIs , built by them. These HAVELIs are unique and a treat to watch for their unique built quality, layout and grandeur.
This hotel has also been an erstwhile residence (HAVELI) of famous PIRAMAL family, now taken on lease and has been converted in to a hotel. This hotel is quite un-orthodox. There is not much to do here but if you want to truly experience a HAVELI then this is the place for you. It is a no-frill hotel but very serene. The old heritage charm has been maintained in rooms.
Food and hospitability is good. We were offered traditional rajasthani dinner, which was sumptuous. We loved that.
Only one complaint. Neemrana group needs to be little more flexible in Lunch/Dinner menu and timing. In Lunch/Dinner, the only option is buffet meals. A LA CARTE should also be made available for those who are looking for some light/quick bite or some other items. And yes, they did not accept Credit Card, when i checked out.

Dear Guest,

We thank you for your positive review about the Piramal Haveli heritage hotel in Shekhawati.

Across all Neemrana Hotels, we aim at striking a balance between the old-world charm and modern day comforts for guests. We are pleased to learn that you enjoyed your experience. Your words act as huge motivator for our restoration team that strives hard to put a new life into a ruined building.

We thank you for your appreciation about the traditional cuisine served at the hotel.
Since the property is an old building- converted into a hotel to welcome guests, it is not as simple to manage as a modern corridor room hotel with guest and service elevators. To ensure quality service by our team, we are therefore obliged to make some systems – especially regarding the meal timings.

We thank you for your visit and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Warm Regards,
Team Neemrana

Heritage property we have been to many times, it needs maintenance. This time we were the only guests and the service was poor. Floors were not very clean and property not maintained as it used to be. My little one is learning to walk so I know about the tiles dirt. Our room looked dull. Carpets not pretty and stained. I got even hurt from one of the furnitures. Upon calling and shouting no staff person turned up. It was bleeding in my hand.... Manager was absent all the time. We had to wait for milk for our tea half an hour. No proper instructions from staff about site seeing around. If it is all about off-season, why do you accept bookings? To mess up our vacations ?

A very beautiful Haveli converted into a Heritage hotel property by Neemrana Group of hotels. A perfect weekend getaway from Delhi/Jaipur.
I stayed here for one night on 17th August 2014. The entrance of the haveli is completely old style with a large iron gate. As you enter you will be smitten by the grandeur of the haveli. On the right side is the unused part of the haveli which looks a bit haunted especially at night, but I believe it gives a nice rustic look to this beautifully maintained gem.
The booking process was very smooth and easy. I booked the Gold Room (with AC).
The room is very huge and clean, very well maintained and they have tried to make them as authentic as possible with minimum furniture which is completely old style to keep the mood going. The bed was a king sized one which was the best part!
The bathroom was very clean and had all the essential toiletries.
The staff is very polite, courteous and always ready to help. They let you be and let you explore the haveli as & how you wish, they never disturb you and reply only when asked about something.
You can get your snacks/breakfast/dinner served in the courtyard or your room or if you want it you can have it in the large and well decorated dining area.
The quality of the food is as expected, very good, especially the Rajasthani dishes were mouth watering. The snacks were also very well prepared.
The Haveli as a whole impressed me completely and I would love to go back there again for a longer period of time. It has a rustic charm to it.
The best part about any Neemrana hotel is the privacy they provide you and it was prevalent here as well. No Televisions in the room, explore the place as much as you want.
All in all a very good experience and the icing on the cake was peacocks roaming around in the haveli freely in the evening and in the morning.

Room Tip: Try to ask for/book the AC rooms during the summer months as it can get really humid.
