A great place to visit and makes for a great photo :) Easy to access as well, really recommended. We stopped by the place before going for a hike at Elephant Mountain

Beautiful grounds and nicely displays the history of Chiang Kai-Shek, including his time as a youth, the founding of the KMT, war-time leader and the ROC in Taiwan. Easy to understand and nicely laid out. Definitely worth a couple of hours.

This place is happening! I used to swing dance there sometimes, there are many other street dance groups and other activities going on to check out! I highly recommend going!

I went in 30 minutes before it closed and got to watch the guards leaving, It's really pretty at sunset. Great for taking photos.

This place is impressive, as are the nearby theatre and concert hall. We were here as part of a tour, and unfortunately had our time at this site cut to 30 minutes. This is not nearly long enough! We had no time to go up the steps of the outside, or even look closely at the inside. There are a couple of great souvenir shops in the foyer of the monument too.
