We are a party of 6,got 3 rooms, stayed at Saual Keh hotel for 4 nights and we all agree on these:
We have to be fair, the hotel is not bad over all,it is within our expectations(hardware wise),but the counter staffs got irritated so easily as soon we started to ask them for anything!
I understand that english is not their forte but is not the reason to express their anger toward non mandarin speaking customers.
They shouldn't be in the service business,if you don't like to interact with human beings,go work in warehouse or something!
No matter how good the place/price is if the personnel is insulting they customers is not acceptable period.I hope the management could really take that seriously 'cause is bad for business

Stayed here for 4 nights good value and good location. Close to metro and plenty of things around.

The service personnel was great and helpful. Two stops from Taipei main station and easy enough to get around.

Would definitely stay again.

Stayed in the "Superior Deluxe Room".
The room had a very large & nice hot-tub with lights etc. (add shower gel & shampoo to get the best bubble bath of your life!)

Location is quite ok, near the CKS memorial hall and the CKS metro station.

The hotel is also an "hour hotel" and the noise insulation in the rooms is awful.
So you can hear the locals doing it next door.. not nice.
Bringing a blacklight to this hotel might be interesting... but you probably won't want to stay there after that.

The "breakfast buffet" was the worst I've ever seen.
Don't eat there if you don't want to stay healthy.

This hotel was well located near the train station. It is very close to the Taipei Station where you can make transfers from the airport.
Hotel was very clean and had all the basic facilities you need. The plus was the bathtub!!
Only problem I had was that the room did not have proper curtain to shield from the morning light (it was one of those see through curtains). Blackout curtains are a must when you're traveling!

Located across from the Chiang Kai Shek memorial area, great food places nearby, convenient to MRT and bridal photography studio. Good place to base yourself. Free breakfast in the morning is simple and has choices. We stayed 5 nights. Great value for room and location.
