This is hotel gets an A+ for all of the following:
1)Professional & helpful staff with great curtesy attitudes. Per GF, staff here were friendly, supper attentive and efficient....
2)Super commodious & well maintained room. Attached shots of of the all marvel restroom with separate bath & shower. The shower water-pressure is one of the best experiences!
3)The complete gym with pool & jacuzzi, cardio room & weightlifting room. All are very clean and spacious. The cardiovascular center is open 24 hours while the other areas are open 6 AM to 10 PM.
4) A spa is available for paid services such as as facials & message. The facilities look nice; I would have appreciated being able to use the associated sauna.
5)The breakfast buffet--free with my stay--was overwhelming with a wide assortment of tasty delectables. Most of the items were fresh and quite tasty (not a lot of junk like you see at lower-end buffets).
6). The hotel lobby, lounge & business center were all modern, very clean, and easy on the eyes.

Location in Taipei is good. Somewhat old hotel and old interior. Light in room is not so bright. Breakfast need to be upgraded.

I have visited this property five times over the past three years and it keeps getting better. From my first visit where the MTR was still being built and the area looks like a war zone, the property has grown on me and proved to be a gd hotel, especially so for business travellers. The rooms are modern and comfortable, service is professional but not overly friendly. Even the restaurants exhibit the same degree of service standards. Breakfast service can feel a little curt and cld be more friendly. Since then, things have improved slowly but some things can be improved. For a 5 star hotel, I find housekeeping to be lacking (in my most recent stay), the room attendant forgot to empty the rubbish bins (mgt needs to do a triple check of rooms?). The usual amenities wasn't replenished. The hotel is also in a quieter part of town so there isn't really much to do at night.

There really isn't much to say about this place. It's the go-to business hotel for the bulk of travellers to Taipei.

It serves it's purpose, it's centrally located and the facilities do what they are supposed to do: Breakfast is plentiful, if somewhat bleak, as it is in the basement of the hotel, without windows and natural light. There's a passable cafe that adjoins the hotel and gives you the option of cheaper fare when you need a snack.

I stayed for 3 nights with my family including 2 adults and 2 kids and asked for a king size bed. The room is very spacious and even the toilet is big so it works well for a smll family like us. Breakfast is average and I would prefer to try local taiwanese breakfast which can be found nearby the hotel. Train station is just near by so it is convenient. Service by the staff is good as they always have smiling faces and always helpful.

Room Tip: 9/f has a indoor swimming pool so more convenient to stay on this floor if fancy swimming
