a bit like a cabin at summer camp. Maybe 70 years ago, this was a very nice hotel, but it is way past its "use by" date. Furniture collected from yard sales. One of the two light fixtures over the sink was burned out. Not the light bulb, but the light fixture. Both the mixer in the bathtub/shower and the sink were shot--extremely difficult to regulate water temperature. Calk around tub has dried up, so it's impossible to clean properly. Bed was good. Breakfast was adequate. Staff was not terribly friendly. That's the good news. Bad news is there may not be any other option near the university. Of course, I only stayed in one room. Your mileage may vary.More
