We had a very pleasant stay in Parwich which is a picturesque village in the Derbyshire Dales. The Tissington Trail is close by which is a fantastic cycling trail which links Ashbourne with Buxton. The wood burner in the kitchen is fantastic. The only negative was the lack of thick curtains in the bedroom and lack of wifi but that is fairly minor. There is underfloor heating in the bathroom which has been recently refurbished with bath and shower. The cottage has been thoughtfully kitted out and everything is well explained. We really appreciated the care and attention to detail.

We had a great stay last year and gave a 5 star rating, but feel we have to leave another review as following the fabulous bathroom renovations our week's visit to this gorgeous period cottage was even better this time!!

Picture postcard location. Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean and very cosy. We had an absolutely wonderful stay, would lone to come again on our next trip to the UK.

What a wonderful place to visit and stay, when we arrived at the cottage it was very cosy. The heating had been put on for our arrival both the fires were set and ready to light. This was very welcomed as we had driven a few hundred miles (and in my own experience unique).The cottage was very clean and comfortable full of character over 3 floors. We loved having the log burner in the kitchen and the stable door added character to the porch area. All the additional touches just added to this great holiday rental, welcome pack of milk and biscuits, fluffy towels, logs and coal. The owners also leave the use of two bikes which are great for getting around in this wonderful part of the country. All the local people we met were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return to this wonderful cottage cant recommend it enough.
