Overall this was what you should expect from a travelodge. Everything was clean and tidy. When asked for more coffee etc there was no problem with it. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The only problem we had were the pillows were a little hard for us but thats a personal preference. Would certainly stay there again.

Firstly can I say that the staff were lovely. The carpet in our room was very stained and we didn’t like to walk on it without shoes on. We had a room at the back of the hotel so had a view of trees but we couldn’t see them very well because the double glazed glass window had blown and there was so much condensation between the glass. Plus there was mould around the frame and also on the ceiling above the window. This hotel is definitely due an update so hopefully Travel lodge have it marked to be done. It wasn’t pleasant at all to stay there and we weren’t keen to come back for the second night. However the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. We feel that it must be very difficult for the staff working there to take pride in the appearance of the hotel. We won’t be staying there again unless the hotel gets the much needed update.
