Convenient location, if you have your own transport. Plenty of interesting artifacts, spread around within the property. Smooth check in & check out. Well maintained room with balcony. Clean toilet. No safe deposit locker in the room. Standard room amenities. Courteous, attentive, well mannered & helpful staff. Reasonably priced buffet meal package. Adequate buffet spread for all three meals. Well maintained swimming pool. No food options nearby, outside the resort.The beach is a 5-minute, easy walk, away. Complimentary beach transfers to & fro, by bullock cart. Private beach access, with chairs & few sunbathing chairs. Kashid beach is clean, and one can actually enter the water, except at high tide. If you're looking for a beach holiday, with relative solitude, near Alibaug, this resort is ideal.

This is our second visit to the Resort but after a very long time. Last time we visited the resort it had only about 70 odd rooms and we booked the entire property for the picnic of our staff. This time also we booked all 118 rooms of the resort to accommodate about 300 heads. My family stayed in one of the rooms in the Bungalow at the hill top (owner's place at the hill top) overseeing the sea as well as the mini golf course and the agri fields nearby. The veranda was very spacious where we can sit with friends and enjoy the breeze in the afternoon. The property is not near the beach but about 400 meters from the beach front. Kashid beach chowpaty is about 1km from the property. They own a land parcel property on the beach side and the place opens up to the sea. It becomes a private kind of place. The road drive by bus from Mumbai took about 6 hours and the road condition is not very good. So travel is a pain (car took 5 hours). The property is well maintained and the very clean. Lot of open space for kids. Food is good. Overall, a very good experience. You can drive to the Fort (about 1 hour to go and 1 hour to comeback). Good place to relax once you reach.

To begin with, the beach is a fair distance away from the resort itself.

That being said, the property in itself is pretty fabulous. The rooms, although compact, are very comfortable and clean.

The garden, lawn, swimming pool are very well kept too. One can take a long leisurely stroll across the property, late at night and experience the night time environment in alibaug without any outside hindrance.

The food though is pretty mediocre
