The rooms and washrooms were clean...the top rooms are more cooler whereas the ground floor rooms are more spacious. The food was great especially the fish curry and fish fry. The surroundings are very nice with a lot of greenery. The pool is small to enjoy any swimming but the beach is very close...10 mins away. The caretaker was very helpful and took good care of us.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms on the top floor as they are more cooler but the ground floor rooms are more spacio...

Kashid beach is fairly clean and thinly crowded. I have been to this beach atleast 10 times in last 3 years. Options to stay at Kashid were limited to Prakruti resort ( good but expensive 4to 5k on weekdays and 6 to 9k on weekends) and a few local houses converted into hotels/stays. The gap in the amenties was huge and one always wished to have a reasonably priced but good place. Well Sarve Huts just fills that gap!.
Resort: The place is fairly large with well maintained garden, a very small pool ( enough to take a dip or laze), Table tenis, a rain dance area. The resort varandah can be conveted to a dance floor and there are quite a few jazzy disco lights installed, a TV and a good music system/DVD player.
Rooms: This is a 2 storey structure and they a total of 5 rooms. 3 rooms on ground and 2 on 2nd floor. All the 5 rooms have attached bathrooms except for one room at the ground floor. Bathrooms are basic- a sink, toilet (western), shower area. All the rooms have a double beds (No TV). The resort guys provide bedsheets, quilts etc.
Children related: The place has quite a few things to keep the children occupied. Apart from TT, well mainatined garden, they has a small cage full of birds, a watch tower ( u can have a limited sea view from here), a trampoline and Pintoo ( an adorable house dog) and a few cats.
Beach: Beach is a 10 minutes walk away.
Food: The resort is managed by a caretaker. All the food etc is prepared by his family. So please dont expect any fancy stuff- but you will get nice, fresh home cooked food. The staff is well behaved and helpful.
Tips: Dont expect a 5 star resort ( any way they are not charging you for the same). Go with a group so that you can book all the rooms and have the entire place to yourself.

Recommendation: This place is next best to " Prakruti". So go for it if you cant get "prakruti".

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor are better

Food is excellent and good for veg / non veg and jains. The rooms are spacious and airy. However, the swimming pool is a disapointment but having a beach 10 mins away is a boon. The place is clean and the resort would be all to yourself if group size is more than 10, which is a plus factor.
There is scope for more amenities and hospitality from caretakers.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top are cooler and airy.

we went to sarve huts for a short weekend trip, more to spend time together than to bask in luxury... the place was clean and comfortable but do not expect air conditioning or star luxury. the caretaker was helpful and enthusiastic, and arranged for good food. the barbecued chicken was great and so was the fish curry and prawns . the beach is a short walk away, about 10 minutes by a lazy stroll. the beach is clean and offers standard water sports. an early morning walk on the beach is a must do......as is a laze on the beach. sarve offers no liquor and you are advised to carry your own . the in house mutt too is rather friendly and shares the goodies with the two cats who inhabit the place as well.

Visited this place after reading good reviews on trip advisor but to me the place was just average (2 star)

Reason’s:
-Place is very average in construction and facilities (toilets, cleanliness, daily maintenance, food)
-It is not on beach so you will have to take CAR every time (unlike Prakruti Resort).
-Hospitality and service of House keeper’s was poor (they looked not-interested)
-They were struggling to arrange food on time and taste was very poor (all preparation were cold).
-Evening barbeque food was ice cold and they failed to arrange snacks on second day
-Room was not cleaned daily and was looking very ugly + smell.
-We had to ask for almost everything
-Swimming pool was very small (a pond) and dirty. Not cleaned even-though requested many times.
-Rain dance not working, foosball broken/ball not available.
-3400/- per couple looked way expensive.
-Overall very dis-appointing
