Easy to find clean warm surprisingly quiet with it being in a busy location staff are brilliant it’s a little dated compared to most premier inns but it’s still a very good standard and price the breakfast one of the best I have had parking is free

After long days seeing the sights in Glasgow and Edinburgh, coming back to Premier Inn Motherwell always felt like coming back home.
The rooms are relatively spacious and clean, the beds just the right amount of soft, and the hotel always has a lovely clean smell. The real knockout though is their staff. The staff at this location was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were a wealth of knowledge of what to see and do in and around the Glasgow-Edinburgh corridor and were able to assist with some atypical requests since we were also in town for a wedding in addition to sightseeing.
The location itself is (somewhat) accessible. There are several train stations in the area that will take you to both Glasgow and Edinburgh but the stations are far away enough that it's best to take a cab to these stations. There are several local taxi companies to call and the hotel itself has a direct-to-taxi-company phone.
The only negative was the slow internet access. It is not a terrible enough experience to take away from what was otherwise a pleasant stay. And per the hotel, you can upgrade to faster service for £5 a day. Given we were out most of the day, we did not use this service.
Would definitely recommend this place if you need to stay in Motherwell for any reason.
Checked in and immediately met with a local (to me Bolton) lady just finished cleaning our room, Caz was lovely very friendly and even left us a little treat in our room, would recommend the Motherwell premier inn to anyone travelling the rooms are very clean and food very good.
Stayed here on a short trip to see family, good value for many and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Carol was very helpful sorting out taxis and suggesting great things to do and see around Glasgow.
Great hotel, even had the privilege of meeting the much raved about Carol. The service staff here are a great credit to premier inn.
If you dont get checked in by Carol never fear, the other staff are just as lovely (well almost lol)

I was booked to stay in Premier Inn Newhouse, Motherwell for 21 nights as in the area on business. To be honest compared to other Premier Inn's it feels dated but do not judge a book by its cover.
The staff are all excellent at provider customer service in fact I would say the best I've experienced in Premier Inn and I stay in them Sunday to Friday every week around the UK.
But there is one team member who goes above excellent and has to be described as outstandingly exceptional, this is Carol.
For Carol nothing is a problem, she always has a smile, is very welcoming and offers nothing but the best.
Premier Inn should look to Carol when recruiting and training future team members. If every Premier Inn I stayed at had a Carol there would of been a lot more reviews left.
