This is a beautiful property... you are in Bangalore & yet you are not... its a forest on the outskirts where the nature camp is located. The accommodation is rustic, yet comfortable. The safari into the forest is included with the stay package & it is a great experience for everyone, not only the kids. Another one of Jungles Lodges' properties that we loved & would want to visit again.

This is great if you want to get away from the grind of the city to recharge. 10 kms from bangalore the camp is good for an immersive experience of nature. The staff takes very good care of you and d facilities are very comfortable. Do not miss the nature walk in the morning - you would see how forests live and thrive. Worth a visit.

I'm a regular JLR visitor.. This is an excellent weekend Getaway to relax from busy life style. This is located just 35 KM from Banglore city, but this is all together a different world within. You will get an opportunity to closely watch freely roaming Tigers, Lions, Elephants, Bears, Bison, Deer.. OH.. what not.. This is an amazing experience to find so many wild animals during safari. There are many man made lakes to store water for these wild animals. We must appreciate the efforts being put in by the forest department. Coming to the JLR resort, accommodations are cosy and provide a authentic jungle experience. Food is good (typical JLR style). Staff are friendly and polite. Resort manager is very helpful and attentive. Overall, this is a must visit place for wild experience and a quick relax with mother nature from busy city lifestyle.

We booked the camp for one day. The staff in the camp had meticulously planned everything.
There are lot of activities happening throughout the day to be enjoyed.
- Bannerghatta safari
- Nature walk
- Butterfly Park
- Bannerghatta Zoo

There was even campfire in the night before dinner. This place has cycles for you to ride within the resort. There is even a wildlife movie screening before dinner. All sorts of recreational facilitates are available here like TT,cricket and badminton.

This place unexpectedly turned out to be super fun and exciting. Special thanks to the staff for taking care of every need. Our only regret was that we didn't arrive early.(We checked in by 2pm whereas the check in time was 12pm). Do visit it once . It is definitely worth the money and time.

I stayed at the camp for a week while attending a workshop. It was a great place to be put up at. Close to Bangalore (2-3 hour drive from the airport, given the crazy Bangalore traffic) but getting there can be painful. Once we were there, it was a lovely experience.

Reservations: Our bookings were made by the organisers. However, bookings are usually done from their website. If required one can also book over the phone by calling the Jungle Lodges and Resorts office in Bangalore.

Service: Since this property is at the periphery of the National Park, one has to appreciate the fact that the service they provide is great. You have fixed menu meals and pre-fixed times for meals, breakfasts and tea/coffee sessions. All of this is explained clearly to tourists when they arrive. If you have any specific requirements, it might be better to carry it along when you drive in. The closest provision stores are a few km away and one would need to make a separate trip for this. There is no internet in this place, though you do get cell phone network coverage. There are generators which are operated between fixed hours (evenings) in case of power failure. Since we were the only group at the camp, they were kind enough to adjust these timings to ensure that we could operated a projector that was required for most part of the day. So the staff worked hard to ensure that our group had no complaints.

Room: We lived in tents that were clean and well kept. The bathroom was large. There are monkeys around the camp, so one has to be careful about not leaving the rooms open. There is a lovely sit-out by each tent. Lovely place to sit and chat with friends, if you're in a group. There's enough space for children to play here too.

Food: Buffet with a wide range of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve tea and snacks in the afternoon also. The staff were kind enough to take requests from us too. They also organised a bonfire and barbecue one evening, though I'm not sure if this is done daily or reserved for any special occasions. No complaints about the food.

Activities: The biggest attraction for me was the morning walk just outside the property, accompanied by a local. If you speak to the manager to provide a good naturalist, you can get some great birding done. We saw 40+ species in a matter of little over an hour. They also organise a trip to the tiger and lion safari and the butterfly garden, which I skipped. But my friends who attended it, liked it very much. There is also equipment like a carrom board and badminton equipment to play in the areas around the camp.

Overall: Nice property though it is expensive. It's a nice place for team meetings etc.. We were able to set up internet too. The only trouble is getting there because that would mean you have to traverse crazy Bangalore traffic.
