The place has a silent swag; that perfect amalgamation of Shekhawati and Brit elements. Definitely a good representative of British colonial architecture in India.

Constructed in 1934, it has a magnificent frontage with stucco decorative colonnades and a series of rooms organized around a central hall. The main building is a two– storied structure with frontal triple arche verandah openings and crowning parapets with decorative urns.
The interiors are simple with very little decoration in the rooms. Made of Lime work the kothi reflects the regal times & grandeur of a by gone era. However, the emphasis is on bold and bright colors, and the openings are extenuated with multicolor borders or floral motifs, at times emulating tile or stonewall. The furnitures are an extension of Shekhawati living and a lot of substance given to detail to recreate life as it was back then.

Room tip: Rooms in new building are good but the ones building has a different charm

Very nice hotel in not so touristy Nawalgarh. They organized Christmas dinner for us, which was great. Very friendly staff, nice heritage hotel rooms. The bike tour that is organized by the hotel is a very good way to experience the surroundings of Nawalgarh. We had a very good time.
