“Very friendly welcome”
Reviewed 14 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We had hoped to stay in the Granary, but it was already booked.Instead we were offered a room in the main house, with breakfast included. The room was accessed from its own stairs and so very private. It was well furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was at the family table, shared with the owners and their children, it was an absolute pleasure to be with them. The breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. The owners made us feel very much at home. My only regret was that we did not use the hot tub, but that gives a good reason to return.

“highly recommended”
Reviewed 13 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

2 of us stayed at the Barn over a february weekend. It was great and exactly what we were after. Particularly impressed with the kitchen being pretty compact but having everything we needed, and all decent quality stuff which isn't always the case. Lucia also gave us really helpful sunday lunch recommendation that made the trip home something to enjoy rather than tolerate after a super short break.

“Absolutely delightful property - loved it!”
Reviewed 15 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We stayed at the Granary Barn for a long weekend away in Devon and it was perfect.

The property was very clean and nice and cosy - just right for the two of us. The owners have produced a wonderful directory of local attractions and we enjoyed visiting Kingsbridge, Slapton and Salcombe for autumn walks on the beach and meals out. We also enjoyed being able to come back from a day out and enjoying some local ice cream from the freezer downstairs!

The location of the property gave some lovely views across the countryside from the converted barn. The owner showed us how the property used to look and the transformation is unbelievable.

We will definitely be coming back in future as we love Devon anyway and Swallows Flight provides the ideal residence.

Thanks!
